it was christmas at nevermore, and though in america itd be snowing and cold and winter.... the author decided he was mad about that, if he couldn't enjoy a cold winter christmas then none of u will, it was the middle of summer, humid and hot, the australian heat tends to get up to 30-40 degrees (CELCIUS) (86-104 Fahrenheit) and during the night, its still pretty damn warm, im sure u can imagine, sorta, idk, australia has a really high melanoma rate for a country that knows we have a harsh sun (melanoma = skin cancer (particularly due to the suns radiation 😍))

anyway, wednesday and enid stood infront of eachother, gifts' in hand as they passed eachother the other ones present, enid was the first to unwrap hers, "omg weds! you got me more nail polish" enid chirped as she smiled wildly at the girl infront of her, wednesday looked at enid and gave a soft smile, she opened her present and it was almost as if you could see her eyes sparkle, though she kept her normal demeanour you could see she had perked up, she pulled a brand new nice and shiny pocket knife / swiss army knife (either or, u guys can choose), wednesday looked up at enid as she smiled, genuinely, giving enid butterflies in her stomach, "thank you en, i love it" enid proceeded to smile widely at the girl infront of her as she startef getting restless "can i hug you pleaseee weds", wednesday let out a sigh "get over here u oversized idiot" enid practically almost tackled her to the ground with the hug, wednesday hugged her back, the hug didn't last long tho, the warm air and their combined body heat made it icky and uncomfy, and with that, they both said their goodnights and fell asleep (IN THEIR OWN BEDS)

A/N : this was short but y'know, just a nice little christmas thing cause yeah, i havent started writing the next chapter yet, idk how to continue into the next chapter without accidentally just going straight for a smut chapter, yes, im going to do a smut chapter EVENTUALLY, i am horrifyingly good at writing them, i have a smut chapter that ive got waiting to be uploaded in my spinel fanfic, not uploaded tho i need to progress in the story before i can upload it, but ueah, lets just say im up to like.... 2,949 words for that chapter and it isn't even finished yet 😭
