Prologue | The Beginning

January 1st, 2023

"Hello, Jean, I need to tell you something I have never told anyone." Lisa said, sounding anxious
"I was cursed by a book that halfed my lifespan, but in return made me more intelligent and strong, but this year, is the last year of my life, before I'm killed by the curse."
Jean was shocked, not mad just shocked. Jean ended up saying to her
"then let's make it the best year of your life!"
and hugged her.
Easter, 2023
"mama! mommy! it's easter!!" said Klee's familiar voice
"oh yes, it is!" Lisa responded
"let's go on a treasure hunt!" Klee said excitedly
"sure, just let us get ready." Jean said, still tired
"ok!" Klee said and walked out the room
"look, I know it will hurt, but you need to tell klee that this is your last year of living." Jean said.
"not today, lets tell her soon, though." Lisa said, not wanting to ruin her easter
May 23rd, 2023
"klee, we have to tell you something." Lisa said, almost in tears, because she never wanted to have to tell Klee.
"oooh! am I getting a brother or a sister?" Klee said, unbearably naive to the situation
"no, im just gonna tell you now, I only have until New Years to live, the second it's 00:00 on January 1st 2024, I'll die." Lisa said
"what? but you have to live, for me and mama, I don't want you to die!" Klee was bawling, not wanting to accept her mother's life was nearly at its end.
"if i could I'd live, for you and mama. but I was affected by an unbreakable curse." Lisa said sorrowfully
"if this really is the last year of your life, let's make it an amazing year!" Klee said, wanting to make the last year with her mommy perfect.
Halloween, 2023
"boo!" Klee jumped out from behind a wall, scaring Lisa "eheheh! look, im a nuke for Halloween!!"
"that's an amazing costume!" Lisa said "I bet you'll scare a load of people with it!"
"let's go trick-or-treating!!" Klee said "because I want candy!"
"alright klee!" Lisa said
Christmas, 2023
"mama! mommy! it's Christmas!" Klee said
"it's also 4 am dear!" Lisa said
"pleaseeeeeee can we open our presents!" Klee said
"alright, just let us get ready." Jean said
Jean and Lisa got ready, then went downstairs to see Klee, waiting for them, standing next to her presents ready to rip them open like she's a hunter and they're her prey
"finally! took you two long enough!" Klee said
for Christmas, Klee got: gunpowder, bombs, more bombs, and a lot more bombs ( and a present of fireworks from Yoimiya ) Lisa got mostly books and Jean got mostly socks

Lisa and Jean were sat next to eachother, Jeans's head resting on Lisa's shoulder, and Klee was on resting her head on their lap

Lisa didn't turn into a dead body, she became purple roses, and before they all flew away, Klee grabbed most of the roses and started sobbing, knowing that if the roses died, she'd have nothing left of her but the smell of her perfume still lingering where she sat and in the library and her hat

people ask why Klee went from a sociable 8 year old to silent, she was the new Grandmaster, she was now quite a sad person. the only things that made her happy were Jean, and when she saw that the purple roses Lisa turned into are spreading in monstadt, renamed 'Lisa's Rose', speaking of her roses, she still has one on the grandmasters office, sometimes she likes to think it's Lisa, telling her to 'not work so much' or 'take a break'. she is a very insociable person, she doesn't go out like other grandmasters to count the seconds before the new year, instead she stays in her office with Jean, trying to recreate their last seconds with Lisa, she also wears Lisa's hat, so Lisa's always with her, to guide her, to protect her
