💋A FEW DAYS LATER:

ANNIKA WANG
"He said that???" Daphne exclaimed as we were on our way to Professor Slughorn's to attend the Slug club dinner party

"Mhm."

"Damn, what a douche!"

"Pansy was right, I should have listened to her and not got with him." Annika replied, shaking her head in disappointment

"Aww girl, I'm so sorry."

"McLaggen probably has a point, maybe we should start seeing other people."

Daphne and I reach Slughorn's door and knocked before permitting us to enter.

When we walked in, everyone's eyes were on us, including McLaggen.

"Ahh, Miss Wang, Miss Greengrass, come in! come in!" He exclaimed in a welcoming voice and signaled us to take a seat

"I apologize, Professor, I hope we didn't miss anything," I say and sat next to Theo while Daphne sat beside me.

"Nope! You ladies are just on time! Cormac here was telling me what his uncle Tiberius has been up to these past days! You said you were going hunting with him this holiday, is that correct?"

"Yes, sir, I'll be going to the ministry of magic with him this upcoming Christmas."

"Ahh, well, be sure to give them both my best! What about your uncle, Belby? Marcus's uncle invented the Wolfsbane potion, for those who don't know, is he working on anything new?"

"Don't know, he and dad don't get on... probably because my dad says potions are rubbish. Says the only potion worth having is a stiff one at the end of the day." Belby replied as he was devouring his ice cream

"What about you, Miss Wang? What do your family do in the muggle world?"

"Well, my father is a prosecutor for the ministry, and my mother is a healer."

Slughorn's eyes widen with interest as McLaggen stared at me from across the table. I ignored his gaze and focused on Slughorn.

"Fascinating! But isn't the healing career a dangerous profession?"

I shook my head, "Not only if you are doing your job correctly, and my mom hasn't made one mistake during her career. I remember her telling me she saved a little boy's life not too long ago."
