Chapter Seven

Just now waking up from my nap. I already had taken my medication, I don't need to take it until I eat again.

My today to-do list is going shopping and then dinner. I wanted to try this new place out, it's been open for 2 weeks. I've been too busy to try it.

Getting out of my bed, I tell Alexa to play some music. I picked out my outfit for today. It's pretty simple but appropriate.

I decided to tone down a bit and not do too much. The restaurant I'm going to has no dress code so that's good.

I picked out Dark blue jeans with rips, a short mini sweater, and a white collar lace-up.

I grabbed a mini cream purse and gold bracelet along with a necklace to finish the look, I sprayed some perfume.

My hair is out in its natural state, I was going to get it done but I decided to wear it naturally.

It's 3:00 p.m. and I go downstairs to get myself a nature valley granola bar. Looking at my grocery list it's 20 items in there. I usually get someone to do it because I'm at my office most of the time.

I ate my granola bar while checking some emails on my laptop. I had gotten an email from my team about wanting some renovations around their home.

I looked at what my potential client wanted a Costal and Hollywood Regency style.

I texted my assistant and told him to make a meeting with her for Tuesday morning at 8:30. He replied instantly.

Closing my laptop, and finishing the rest of my granola bar.

I grabbed my purse off the counter and my phone along with my wallet, getting my keys out of my purse. I set my alarm from my phone as I closed the doors.

I played one in a million by Aaliyah as I drove out of my driveway.

I rolled down my window and turned up the music while silently singing along but not too much.

*2 hours later

I arrived home with my groceries, I hurried up putting them away, I had made a few runs other than the grocery store.

I wanted to run down the time until my reservation is ready.

Seeing that it is close to 5:45. At the moment, it's 5:20, seeing that I have 25 minutes left.

I decided to look at Mr. Morelli's home interior that he wanted and I gotta say the man has great taste.

I mean me for example and I barely know him and he wants me so badly and doesn't even know why.

Never really asked me why and never had the time to think about him because I've been busy.

I can't distract myself with men especially ones like him because once I'm into someone I get distracted I can't afford that.

So many important things I could lose and distracting myself from what's most important to me that keeps me happy is a no for me.
