Eclipse POV.

I open a new datapad and create a new log. Documenting everything, starting from when we skipped class, the arcade, the news, the mob, Harmony's house and then sleeping over. That was all one day. Then first offer of the plan, being forced out for her and our safety, the horrible and risky flight to my home, the second plan offer, all five, then six on the same page, and that same night we steal the ship. The next few days after that Solar has spent in his new room trying to research the virus. He's trying to find one at least similar to it. No luck.

So it's been roughly a week after the initial news broadcast. Siege insisted we continue our morning flights. It sounded fair enough. Wavelength even started waking up around the same time to head to the training room. Solar was dragged by him to make sure he wasn't cooped up in that room all day. As for his progress.... I set my datapad on my rooms desk. Poor mech hasn't made any. It's frustrating him up the wall. I hear him bang his head on his desk. He needs a break.

"Solar! Get out here!" I yell and walk out.

"Why?" He calls back confused.

"Because you keep cooping yourself up. Come on. At least work outside." I take his datapad from him.

Solar glares but walks outside with me. Harmony was already outside with Wavelength. My wings flutter while watching them.

"Hey you two!"  Wavelength waved with a grin.

"Hello." I smile back. "See? Fresh air will help."

"Yeah, I guess. Thank you Eclipse."

"Of course." I sit down. "Flare has been reading our library book. He thinks he found something..."

"What! He has?!" Solar blinks as he sits back up from laying in the grass.

"He thinks." I restate. "It's some sort of relic from eons ago. Said to have been made by one of the 13 Primes themselves. But any evidence for it has been long lost. So him and Siege did some research. Siege thinks he found mentions of it in one of the early primes journals."

"Early primes? May I see the book entry?" Solar hummed curious.

"Yeah." I comm Flare and tell him to meet me outside with our library book.

"Well he looks deep in thought!" Wavelength chuckles flopping next to me.

"As he should be." I shrug poking Solar's cheek.

"Hiiiii!" Flare bounces down the ships loading ramp.

"Hey!" Solar waves him over.

Flare hands him the library data pad and our team nerd scrolled through it.

"OH! It's apparently called the Globe of True Elixir. Ancient stories and religions use to talk about it a lot. However the details became incredibly muddled with time. No one knows if the primes made it or Primus himself. Some of those old religions believed Primus just found it. Or found something and encased in the sphere."

I listened as Solar started ranting. Siege had joined us at one point. Harmony was happily cuddling in his lap.

"Soooooo? Then what happened?" Wavelength lay on his stomach, chin and servos on my knee.

Solar shifts. "Well. It's- it's tricky. As Eclipse mentioned Flare and Siege talking about, any and all evidence for it even existing just- cut off. No historian or archaeologist can pin point when that theoretical shift happened. As for the journal entry, that was possibly just a prime reminiscing or curious themselves."

"What does the Globe thingy do?" Wavelength sits up stretching.

"The Globe, supposedly, could cure anything." Siege emphasized the last word. "Headaches, a faulty vent, tank, rusting processor, failing spark, anything. Bots who went insane were forced to stay with it for a week. No traces of any symptoms were ever found again in the bots the Globe healed."

"So this Globe effectively had the power to destroy anything wrong with a bot. Like. Anything. No wonder bots think it didn't exist.  The Globe is the perfect answer to everything." I chuckle.

"Weeeelll..." Solar whines.

"Well?"

"A lot of the legends say it was cursed as well. The primes didn't want anyone abusing it. Or anyone but the primes using it. Again, that's a detail that's been mixed up due how much time has past. Either way if someone who wasn't suppose to use it, or used it incorrectly, they'd get the full wrath of whatever was inside the Globe." Solar read aloud.

"Whatever is inside?" Flare leans over, being the only one standing.

"Maybe it's all the illness's the Globe took?" I suggest.

* Or maybe Primus found a tiny star? Or black hole?* Harmony joined in.

"All three of those could technically make sense. Maybe there's a weird alien that lives inside the Globe? It might survive off bacteria?" Solar sighs.

"Soooo, explain all that further. The supposed curse." Siege prods.

"Ok." Solar continues with the datapad. "Ok here. There was supposedly a mech who thought he could win over an ancient kings spark with the Globe. Win the spark, marry the princess. For love or not no one knows. However while in the courtroom, the mech boasted about taking the Globe. Witnesses outside the courtroom say everything melted to smooth metal. Walls, pillars, throne, even the bots themselves."

I shudder at the story.

"And the Globe?"

"Not a scratch. Another story tells about how another mech, much much younger than the first and in poverty, tried finding the Globe to heal his dying mother and sister. Theifs stole it and took pleasure in the boys begging. The Globe apparently lit up and blinded him. When he woke up the thieves metal was replaced by something like freezing glass. The boy got to his family and healed them. The Globe stayed in their protection for multiple generations." Solar turns off the datapad.

*Well that's all conflicting.* Harmony makes her little "huff" motion.

"You're telling me." Flare sighs. "Siege and I got curios and looked it up online. Ironically there's a LOT of mythology on that Globe. Multiple religions mention it."

"Well, that's at least somewhat promising?" Wavelength offered.

"I guess. But some stories show the hero's being rewarded, only for another hero to be killed by it." Siege shook his helm.

"But thousands of bots in the past claim it existed right?" I press.

"Yes. Which, to me at least, is beyond weird." Solar nods.
