I sat on a small chair inside a café, hot chocolate in hand. Lublin seems okay I guess. At least the food was alright. The barista was really nice and understanding, though I still felt embarrassed about not speaking Polish too well. Honestly surprised how the hell she managed to understand me!
I looked up from my drink and instantly spotted her blonde, hair which was dyed pink at the tips, from right across the room. She had a brown waistcoat that seemed a little tight, accentuating the outline of her-
Laura! Stop it! I shook my head and stood up to leave. That's enough barista boobs for one day, off home I go!I zipped up my coat, grabbed my bag and headed out. It was late, around 10 o'clock. I moved like I was on a mission. I didn't trust people at night. I tried keeping to the most well lit path I could. Even though I hated the city at night, I adored the sky and the cold, crisp air.
I sat on a bench right under a street lamp. People walked by, enjoying life while they still could. A waft of freshly baked goods came over me as I sat there, breathing steam just like a dragon. I looked up and stared at the night sky, little flecks of white paint dotted all around on a black canvas. "Heh" I chuckled to myself "milk froth from the-" I trailed off. I sighed and stood straight up. It was time to be getting back home.
Once I had gotten inside my house I hung up my coat and rushed upstairs after turning off the downstairs lights as quick as a gazelle trying to avoid being turned into kitty dinner. And why? Well because it's the law. I mean, If I don't the spooky demons from my downstairs hallway will grab my ankles and eat them. Oh god, I really do think strangely.
My bedroom was fairly small. Enough room for a single bed, wardrobe and a TV stand. I threw off my trousers and wooly jumper and flopped straight into bed with a white tanktop and panties. I really shouldn't be staying up so late. Curling up into a little ball under my bedsheets, I closed my eyes and let my muscles all relax. I just wonder what tomorrow will bring.
