First step: great danger

We went outside, the sun had already set towards the west, I turned my eyes to the two strangers. The red-haired girl gives the impression of an incredibly energetic and cheerful person, while her companion seems to be calm and quiet. What a difference of characters. Together with Pyrra, we decided to talk to them.

The red-haired girl's name was Nora Valkyrie, and her silent companion was Lin Ren, they've known each other since childhood and are best friends, which explains why they get along so well despite their different personalities

The conversation turned mostly to our careers as hunters, the weapons we use, and stuff like that, but suddenly something strange happened. Birds from the area took off in a rapid flight, we stared at the sky with curiosity and then we heard a disturbing noise that came from the courtyard in front of us.

The earth began to float, it looked as if it were undulating, and after a while, patches of earth, pieces of jagged roots and small stones shot into the air before our eyes, there appeared a Grimm scorpion as big as a truck with a long tail attached.

The beast howled and then turned towards us.

Nora and Ren immediately rushed towards him, while Pyrra took a moment to grab my arm and tell me I'd better find some shelter. then she ran down the stairs and ran to help them.

I was really good except for the misfortune of my body feeling like holding me, standing there looking at everything and I couldn't believe my eyes.

Ren was balancing between the monster's pincers and took advantage of your effects and blades. Nora, who miraculously helps on his back and with the help of a huge hammer that breaks through the armor, while Pyrra provides them with fire support.

I looked at the whole scene in disbelief, at the skill and handling of my new friends and at Grimm himself. at his great pincers which branches to chop down trees, at his small eyes set in the skull, at his wriggling tail ending in a spike, at his thin legs which some miraculously appeared all over his enormous body.

Then an idea occurred to me. I pulled myself together, swallowed, and despite the terrible dryness in my throat, I began to scream."Nora! aim for the legs."

The girl turned towards me, It seemed to me that I saw a smile on her face, then she jumped off the scorpion's back and started hitting its legs, it swayed and then began to aggressively hit its tail in all directions."Pyrra, you take care of the tail,Ren aim at eyes"

Pyrra shot her spear high into the sky, for a moment I was afraid that she didn't hear me and was planning something else, but after a while the spear fell from the sky with a whistle and pinned its tail to the ground, Ren changed the settings of his weapon and now rained a hail of bullets on the monster's skull, which caused the beast had to cover itself with pincers.

Grimm was immobilized, but I had a feeling that it wouldn't last long, we have to finish him off quickly, but how? maybe I could find a hole in his armor and pierce him with a sword? it is a plan but to execute it I would have to get close to this beast and I have a problem to take even a step at the moment.

Ehhh, it's easy to give orders to others and watch their struggles when you can watch everything yourself from a safe distance. But it's not supposed to be like this. I should be down there fighting with them, protecting them, I have a shield, I should make use of it!

Suddenly, however, I noticed that Nora jumped to the ground and ran to Pyrra, they talked for a while, then Nora ran away a little towards the forest while Pyrra covered herself with her shield.

I wondered what they were planning, but after a while everything became clear.

Nora turned around and started running towards Pyrra, when they were only a few steps away, she jumped up and landed on the shild and then shot up like a cannon.

With a wild cry, Nora arced through the air and struck the monster's skull like a thunderbolt. Grimm began to thrash around chaotically, but it only lasted for a moment before he froze in place and began to disintegrate.
