As the Scooby gang continued their fighting amid notepad and pencil, Angel was busy searching for Buffy when suddenly he was knocked unconscious by an unseen force.
It was hours later when Angel woke to find himself strapped to a table and a blonde woman standing over him.
He tried to speak but remembered he had no voice, so he motioned with his bound hands for a pad and paper the blonde woman undid one hand and gave him a pad and paper.
"Who are you?" Angel wrote.
"You don't remember me Angel?" the blonde woman (portrayed by Kristy Swanson, Buffy Summers in the movie version) asked.
"No, I don't? Am I supposed to?"Angel scribbled on the notepad.
"I'm the slayer, Buffy Summers?" the blonde woman said, as a confused look came across Angel's face.
"You're not Buffy?" Angel scribbled again.
"Yes, I am." the blonde woman insisted. "I'm the REAL Buffy Summers!"
"The REAL Buffy Summers? What do you mean 'REAL'?" Angel scribbled again.
"Simple, Angel, the Buffy you've known is an impostor."
"Huh? An impostor? How can that be?" Angel mused as he wrote again, as the blonde woman left Angel to mull over what she had told him.
The blonde woman claiming to be Buffy Summers spoke with the Gentlemen and told them the plan was going swimmingly, the Gentlemen praising her for her performance.
