Callie sat alone in her room as she scrolled through the pictures that Brandon had posted on Instagram. She was happy he was enjoying himself at Idyllwild, if anyone deserved to be happy for once it would be Brandon. It wasn't until Callie noticed a picture of a blonde girl on Brandon's back that she realized that she had lost him and that there would never be Brandon and Callie or Callie and Brandon. He was just Brandon and she was just Callie. Nothing more than that.

Callie decided that she would stop torturing herself with looking through his picture and play her guitar for a little while. She looked around her room but couldn't find it. Callie decided to check downstairs thinking that she may have left it in the living room. But it wasn't down there either. That's when it hit her to check Brandon's room. He had asked to borrow it but he must have forgotten to return it.

Callie made her way back upstairs dreading the fact that she'd have to go into his room. She could have just forgotten about her guitar but she really missed playing it. She took a deep breath before opening the door to his room. Callie walked into his room looking for the guitar he selfless gave her. She didn't realize how empty the Adams Foster house was without Brandon. One would say that he's the glue that keeps the family together.

After about a few minutes of letting her thoughts wander she found her guitar over by his desk. She walked over to grab it and as she was about to turn around to leave something caught her eye that was on his desk. Callie fought with her thoughts as if she should find out what it was. Callie couldn't take it anymore and gave in. She walked over to Brandon's desk and picked up the music sheet.

She felt as if she was on the verge of tears as her eyes scanned the music sheet. She couldn't believe it after all this time that he still loves her. Of course when he said they could never be together he also said that he would always have feelings for her. But the fact that he still continues to put Callie's happiness and feelings before his own makes her love him more than she could ever imagine.

Callie left Brandon's room without realizing that she had the song he had written about her with her awhile leaving the guitar where she had placed it in his room. Callie quietly went back to her room as no one else was home. She decided to give Brandon a call. It felt as if it had been a long time since she had talked to him.

Meanwhile at Idyllwild Brandon was practicing a new piece that he had been working on. He had been trying to get it perfect for the last hour or so and he just couldn't seem to get it right. He felt as if it was the grim reaper all over again. Brandon sighed out of frustration when he phone rang. He checked to see who would be calling him, he couldn't help but smile as soon as he saw her name.

Back at the Adams Foster residence, Callie started to get really antsy and began to pace around her room in circle as the ringing continued. On the fifth ring, Brandon had picked up.

"Hi, Cal." Brandon said as he was happy that she had called him. If there was one person that he missed the most it would be Callie.

"Hi." Callie sighed as she wasn't sure if she should have called. "I hope I didn't disturb you or anything. I just wanted to hear your voice."

"Oh no don't worry about it. It's a good time for me to take a break anyways. I've been working on this new piece but I can't seem to get it picture perfect. Is everything alright?" Brandon wondered as he hasn't heard from Callie in weeks.

"Yeah, everything is fine. I just thought I'd call." Callie said as she contemplated whether or not she should bring up the fact that she came across the song that he had obviously wrote about her as she glanced at the music sheet in her hand. She decided not to.

"I'm glad you did. I've been meaning to call, but my life here at Idyllwild is so hectic. How have you been? I miss you all so much."

"I'm sure it has been. I'm good. I've been spending some time with my dad and Sophia. I may be getting adopted sometime in the future but they're still my family and nothing can change that. I know I was dead set against letting them be a part of my life but I've grown to love them just as much as I love Stef, Lena, Jude, Mariana and Jesus." Callie stated as Brandon felt a little disappointed that she didn't mention him but he understood.
