We begin the story off looking at a giant bat creature walking on what looks like cave walls until suddenly an elevator opens revealing two young men walking out of it causing the bat to screech. As they continue walking they make it up to the inside of the cave and tons of bats start flying all around.
News Feed: Police and emergency services are urging Gotham residents to stay off the roads and in their homes tonight in light of the severe winter storm warning.
As the two continue walking they look at a giant computer system.
Vicki Vale: No man is an island Bruce. You've been back for almost two years now, you can't expect me to believe that Gotham's most eligible bachelor is spending another Christmas alone...

The men now known to be Bruce Wayne and Y/n L/n change the feed of the computer to what appears to be a speech given by police commissioner Loeb.
Loeb: ...Knowing that tonight we lock up one of Gotham's heinous and relentless killers, Julian Gregory Day(Calendar Man).
Reporter: Commissioner Loeb, any comment on the rumors that it wasn't actually the cops who captured Mr. Day?
James Gordon: There Is No Such Thing As A 'Batman' or 'Robin'!

As Bruce and Y/n watch we see an old man by the name of Alfred Pennyworth coming to the table with what appears to be Christmas Dinner.

Bruce suits up and prepares the bat wing and becomes the Batman.
