I sighed as I sat at the water side, contemplating at what my parents constantly hagged me about. Ronal and Tonowari wanted me to find at least some interest in one of the boys of our clan. That was fine..if I was interested.

Tsireya had it easy.. being the youngest, she had nothing to worry about, the golden child. And Ao'nung..well, he's just Ao'nung. Sadly for me, I had responsibilities. Sadly for my parents, I couldn't give a fuck about them. We were always the troublesome ones, me and Ao'nung. The only difference was he was a bit of a bully.

I waved my fingers the the water, closing my eyes when all of a sudden I heard light footsteps behind me. I turned as my sister appeared, eyes wide.

"Y/n, come quick! Forest people, in the village," Tsireya yelled, gasping for breath.

You gasped and lept up, chasing after her. After a few minutes of running, you arrived with your sister to see a crowd of your people surrounding the strangers. You pushed your way through to make it to the front by your mother. You scanned the forest people, intrigued.

The oldest, who must've been the father stood in front. At his side was a beautiful Na'vi, who must've been his mate. Holding her leg was a girl, about 8 or 9 with short plaits. Behind her mother stood a teenage girl, with short hair with a few braided strands and sky people features. Standing protectively at her right was a male forest Na'vi, who looked like his mother. He was tallest of the children with plaits behind his ears. The last one caught my eye, he looked about my age with plaits tied back with vine, a mischevious look on his face.

His eyes caught mine and I glanced away, slightly embarrased. Reya nudged me, grinning. I rolled my eyes as I zoned out to what the adults were saying.

"My eldest daughter, Y/n, and her siblings will show you and your family to where you will be staying during your time with us, along with teaching your children our ways," Tonowari announced, looking pointedly at me.

"But father, they will be like babies-," I started, this couldn't be happening. I was supposed to go out with some friends later, I didn't have time to teach forest people.

"You will do as your father asks," my mother states firmly, staring at me harshly.

"Yes, mother," I stare at my feet for a few seconds before turning to the Sully family.

"My apologies, please follow me and my sister Tsireya to your living quaters," you give Jake Sully a forced, but polite nod.

"Thank you," Neytiri states as her and her family follows you to where they'll be staying.
