When the world seems to fall asleep sooner and the ground is covered in the white blanket left by the snowflakes which delicately sway back and forth as they fall from the sky. When the cold air blows and harshly kisses your cheeks and leaves its mark as rose tint of a blush that spreads in the pale canvas that is your skin. Only when the cold seeps into your skin and bones do you miss my warmth.
The warmth that engulfs your entire being like the warm waves that clash against the brown sandy beaches. My kisses are refreshing like that of the salty water spritzing in the air leaving tiny pecks as they meet your skin, the canvas I paint a golden brown. Only when it becomes too passionate for you do you leave.
When the mountains hold their peaks high into the sky, white clouds and mist embrace them and leave their droplets to freeze and become the ice crystals that fill the cracks in the stone. The height of it allows fingertips to graze the heavens and live among the twinkling spheres of burning fire in the distance. Only when you feel vertigo do you miss the low planes of my valleys.
The valleys that allow you to lay down and become one with the ground beneath bare feet. Fields of tall grass flowing smoothly as the wind dances through the verdurous sea. The air is filled with the fragrances of the many wild flowers that bloom to keep you company. Only when it becomes too stable for you do you leave, again.
When the spring has come and gone and the leaves on the trees turn to the bright oranges, yellows, and reds. The heavens, once a celestial blue now morphed into florentine, clouds cover it as if it's a shame to be gray. Weeping as it bids farewell to its lover, spending six months away from the emerald trees and rainbow flowers. Only when it becomes accustomed to the coldness of winter does it become cheerful.
