Mirio had gone into a great sadness that day. He had promised everyone that he would save Eri. But he failed. We all did. Even Kirishima, Uraraka, and Tsu had blamed themselves even though it wasn't their fault. Mirio decided that he would continue to be a hero and try to find her again to save her. And Nighteye... wasn't so lucky. He didn't make it past the fight.
When I got back to the dorms, I didn't come out of my dorm for weeks and Aizawa pitied me so much that he let me stay in there. He unlocked my door to bring me food every day. Even Kacchan was looking at me differently.
Mirio had gone back to being his cheery self. And the heroes tried to keep the fight away from the public as much as possible so they won't know that we failed. I was so ashamed. We all were. We hadn't even heard anything from Hado or Amajiki. I can only imagine how they felt.
The Shie Hassaikai had disappeared all together. We thought that maybe they had been caught by someone else. Maybe they killed Eri. Or maybe she ran away. Aizawa was also upset just seeing us like that. Shortly after that, we had defeated Shigaraki, Dabi, who turned out to be Todoroki's brother, Mr. Compress, Twice, and Spinner. All that was left was Toga. She disappeared after confessing her love to me.
10 years had passed, and I was the #1 hero, Mirio was #2, and Kacchan was #3. Me and Kacchan were 26 and Mirio was 28. We all hung out frequently and tried to forget about how we failed, but every now and then, we'll see a little girl that resembles Eri in even the slightest way, and then we remember.
But what we didn't expect was to have a new villain appear. A villain with blueish-grey hair and a horn, with the power to rewind.
