classes for the day had just finished as i'm walking back to the dorm with wednesday, we aren't reslly talking, well except for me, when we stop at our dorm door wednesday fumbles for the keys to unlock the door when ajax comes slithering out of the dark almost, over to me, "hey enid! are you free tonight at all? i wanted to maybe, yknow, 'hang out'" he winked, eugh god no, fuck this i need an excuse to avoid this dude, cause he clearly can't take a hint, just as i go to open my mouth, wednesday buts in "she's busy tonight" wednesday says in a firm, cold tone as she grabs onto my arm and pulls me to her side, i can feel butterflies in my stomach and she may just feel how fast my heart is going just from her grip on my arm, i just nod in agreement and i finally speak up "y-yeAh,-" i clear my throat; "me and wednesday have plans tonight, sorry ajax, maybe next time" ajax goes to retaliate but before he can wednesday drags, borderline throws me into the dorm, as she closes and locks the door behind her, looked at her shocked for a second until i finally sighed, "thank you for doing that, i really can't stand him rn"

wednesday turns around and looks at enid, "hm, you're coming to fencing with me, yknow, since i "save your ass" and all, hurry up and get changed" wednesday quickly said as she grabbed her fencing gear and got changed, enid blinked a few times before quickly scattering to grab her gear and change into it, she ran to wednesday side, "okay, lets go"

once they arrived at fencing wednesday chose to warm up practice with enid, before challenging anyone else, enid was good but, wednesday didn't see her much as a challenge, halfway through their practice enid somehow tripped wednesday with her foil (type of fencing blade for beginners) wednesday stumbled forward, she bonked helmets with enid, they both took their helmets off and their faces were inches away from eachother, enids face went bright red, but wednesday just, stared, very intently, at enid, "wednesday?" enid softly said, as she tilted her head

then her eyes widened, wednesday kisses her, enid froze in place, what? huh? gay? queer? what???? enids head went blank, wednesday stopped and turned around as she quickly left the room, 'where....' enid thought before she snapped out of it 'oh SHIT SHE KISSED ME... OH MY GOD AND I JUST STOOD THERE LIKE AN IDIOTTTTT' enid covered her face, it was bright red as she mumbled to herself "idiot" she stood there for a moment "wait what the hell am i still doing here i should chase after her oh my lord...." enid groaned as she quickly ran out of the fencing room, with hers and wednesdays helmet under both arms, she ran to her dorm and thankfully found wednesday, as she panted, putting the helmets down on the ground as she bent over putting a finger up at wednesday to indicate to give her a minute, running all the way back took the WIND outta her 💀

when enid had finally caught her breath she looked up at wednesday "weds-" she started "if you're here to yell at me then get it over with" wednesday spoke in her monotone voice "what?? weds no thats not why i came literally RUNNING to find you." she cut wednesday off, which seemed to annoy the girl abit as she looked at enid, all eyes were on enid, though it was only one persons pair of eyes, it felt like talking infront of a crowd, enid swallowed the lump in her throat that was forming as she sharply inhaled "weds....i didn't hate the kiss....but i don't..." enid drifts off, looking for the words but wednesday figures what she is trying to say, and says it for her "did i skip a few stages? went to fast, sorry en," wednesday sighs "how about i try again" she gets up off her bed and stands infront of her, enids face goes a slight tint of pink "enid sinclair, i like you, i've liked you for a while, everytime i saw you with ajax i got jealous i admit it, i even made a plan to publically shame him if i'm being honest with myself, thing helped, but i realised, i didn't need the plan cause you didn't like him...." wednesday rants on and enid grabs her hand, wednesday looks at her, and her normal bland expression returns as she sees, the usual, enid, ears and tail very visible, her tail swaying side to side WILDLY with excitement as she's smiling like an idiot, wednesday sighs, "you were jealous?" enid teases and wednesday stares at her deadpan "is that really the only thing you got out of the statement?" enids smile only seemed to get wider, as she looked at wednesday "willa...i would love to be your girlfriend...i-if you want that is" she mumbles the last part and wednesday furrows her brows at her "what part of you thought otherwise my god enid" enid giggles and wednesday feels her own heart racing, no one else has made her feel like this,
and damn does she love it
