"How do I start it?" Megha mumbled with agitation while she slapped her hanged phone against her palm.."what is wrong with it" "ahhugh" was all she could speak till universe listened to her and granted her wish .
She hastily calls to her neighbor "mrs Neetu sharma " to check on her sick mother , "Dhara tripathi " .unfortunate circumstances can be a boon or bane yes! boon ,why not? Dementia was certainly an escape, albeit a lonely one for Dhara tripathi, sleep is better than the waking state when world has nothing to offer .
sickness and disease comes under the criteria of curse ..especially those who are lower on the economical chain ,disease eats the sick and feeds on the person who pays the bill .
Working two jobs ,waiting tables and assisting scary street smart salon owners was a kind of fate that was shaped like a maze..and no matter what you do ,you could never escape it,neither socially nor financially.
Oh but Megha had beauty,Megha thought after catching a glimpse of her beautiful face in the China set stuffed cupboard..she touches her face to remind herself the touch of her own tenderness ..in a better situation,Megha would have been delighted to have this face but in her reality it was the constant reminder of all the things she cannot have despite being a conventionally pretty girl.pretty girls had it all but she cannot.

A message alerts Megha .

"How could they do this to us ,to me "..thought Megha ,even though she didn't belong to batch 16 ..she knew that she would be out of her day job in 8months if not next month.
For her it was bad but for her mother,it was the best news..almost miraculous that Dhara suddenly remembered everything..down to the last moment of anger before she finally retired to dreams and beds."Oh how I would love to finally get away with those medicines, they mess with my nerves " she says with a casual countenance .
