Today is the day our new teacher, Dazai-sensei, is going to come. I am currently walking on a dirty path of a mountain with Karma-kun, on top of which our class building resides. It is honestly a daily routine to walk on the uneven path leading to the building. Our classroom is situated one kilometer away from the main school building on the nearby mountain. This is only for the Class 3-E students, who are considered to be the 'end class' of the school. It is quite dicey and strenuous to go on this path everyday as it is riddled with a number of obstacles like bees, snakes and rivers. But nevertheless, we have adapted to the prejudice against us. I wonder if Dazai-sensei will be able to reach the building without any assistance. I hope he comes out just fine and doesn't try another suicide attempt over here. I remember what Dazai-sensei told us yesterday while we were walking back after our heavy meal. The words he spoke to reassure us that he would be fine on his own were not as reassuring as it should've been, which increased my fears and anxieties.

{Flashback}

\\\We were walking along with Dazai-sensei and Kunikida-san. Dazai-sensei was clinging onto Kunikida-san, with his hands wrapped around Kunikida-san's shoulders, while speaking of... a new suicide method? This slowly but surely, started to annoy Kunikida-san. Kunikida-san eventually snapped and threw Dazai-sensei to the ground, yelling at him for the umpteenth time while calling Dazai-sensei by many nicknames such as 'seaweed brain' and 'suicidal maniac'. Karma-kun watched in amusement and Sugino sighed, with a huge sweat drop on the back of his head while purple lines made on his forehead.

Kunikida, still yelling at Dazai: ...WHY CAN'T YOU BE A BIT RESPONISBLE FOR ONCE?! YOU'LL NOW HAVE TO TEACH AND SUPERVISE 28 STUDENTS BUT YOU NEED TO BE SUPERVISED YOURSELF!!! I CAN'T EVEN TRUST YOU TO COMPLETE A SINGLE THING!!! YOU NEED TO BE A GOOD TEACHER AND AN EXAMPLE FOR THEM FROM NOW ON BUT I DON'T EVEN THINK YOU COULD DO SUCH A THING!!! YOU SHOULD START BEING MORE ORDERLY DO YOU UNDERSTAND-

Dazai: Calm down, Kunikida-kun. I can handle myself just fine. You can leave me alone and go do your works back at the agency.

Sparkles surrounded Dazai-sensei as he spoke with determination, which made him look quite honest and charming. But if I hadn't known Dazai-sensei, I would've really believed him. Kunikida-san was still fuming in rage as I could see the smoke steaming out of his ears. Dazai-sensei could still keep such an airy tone. I wonder how long they have been partners for. Well, how are they partners to begin with? That will be one of the greatest unsolved mysteries I have ever come across. Kunikida-san started to calmly speak; his previous chiding voice disappeared like it never existed.

Kunikida: The reason I'm here is due to the fact I don't trust you in handling yourself.

Dazai-sensei's face changed into an exasperated one as he held his head with both his hands while gasping and spoke in a dramatic voice. I must say, Dazai-sensei is really a drama queen. If he wasn't a detective, he could've been an actor.
