Y/n had just moved from her old home in California, her parents had divorced, and her and her mother moved away from him.
"How long left mom?" Y/n asks in frustration
"Not long honey, about 10-15 minutes" y/ns mom says
"Alright" y/n says
She looks out the window, seeing people, lots of people, people with surf boards, people with cigarettes, people with funky looking hats, people with different style.. Lots of different people.
She sees the sign:
WELCOME TO LOS ANGELES
"MOM, MOM LOOK AT THE SIGN OH WOW" y/n says
"Oh honey that looks awesome" y/ns mom says
Y/n nods her head and puts in her headphones from her Walkman, she puts a tape in
"Echo and the bunnymen - greatest hits"
(a/n I actually have this as a album and vinyl, not to brag)
The headphones play
"the killing Moon"
Y/n leans her head on the glass window, looking at the strange people. (lost boys ref 🤪)
Y/ns mom pulls up to the new house, it has a porch, with some wooden chairs, some wind chimes and some plants, the house looks old, but that good type of old.
