Yo hummed softly to himself while sorting through old papers he'd brought to the new house. He hadn't had the time before the move, and during the move wasn't smart, so now was as good a time as any. He tossed a few papers from middle school into the recycle pile and grabbed another stack. Old notes for math and science weren't needed. Why had he held onto them this long, anyway?

Pha was busy writing an essay at his desk and couldn't help right now. He glanced over at Yo and Love, their little girl playing with her toys in the new playpen they'd bought, babbling to herself.

Yo looked up and locked gazes with Pha. They smiled at each other before going back to their separate tasks.

"Didn't you say there's more in the closet?" Pha asked, erasing a word and writing in a substitute to see if it worked better. He was having more difficulty on this essay than ones he'd written before.

"Yeah..." Yo gave a petulant pout. Feeling a bit childish, he shoved some of the papers away, letting them slide all over the floor. "I'm going for a snack. Do you want anything?"

Pha eyed Yo as the younger struggled to his feet and stretched his back, rubbing at it with one hand. "Whatever you're having is fine."

Yo had an amused smirk. "As long as it's not a crazy craving, hm?"

Pha raised an eyebrow, staying silent.

"I'm getting ice cream," Yo finally told him and cackled when Pha rolled his eyes. "Couldn't resist," he singsonged, trotting out the door.

"So mean to your hubby," Pha called after him, shaking his head.

"It's my right as your knocked-up fiancé!"

Pha kept working while waiting for Yo, then gave up and pushed away from the desk. His brain needed a break or else he was going to self-destruct. The open closet caught his attention, and he made the split-second decision to distract himself by helping Yo in pulling out the old boxes of papers. Being pregnant, Yo didn't need the extra stress on his body.

The med student dragged out the boxes, bewildered about why Yo had so many of them, and opened the top one

The med student dragged out the boxes, bewildered about why Yo had so many of them, and opened the top one. He had to smile when he saw the old pictures Yo used to have set up in what he called his "Pha Shrine". It made Pha feel nostalgic for those days of when Yo looked so adorable in his glasses and uniform - scratch that, he still looked adorable. Even more so, now that he was pregnant for the second time.
