one day harry was fourteen when there was a knock on the door

"dudley can you get that" petunia asked her son

"of course mum" dudley said as he went to answer the door their he saw a woman with a square-jawed witch with close-cropped grey hair and a monocle, and a small portly man, wearing a bowler hat

"this is the residence of heir harrison james potter correct" the man asked dudley nodded confused

"i am minister cornelius oswald fudge i represent the lords of britain, this is our head of magical law enforcement, amelia susan bones, may we come in we need to speak with heir potter, at once it is quite urgent" minister fudge said dudley nodded and moved away gesturing for them to come inside

"i'll get my mum and harry" dudley said after he showed them to the sitting room then running off first fetching his mom then going to the study where harry was looking over accounting documents from gringotts

"dudley, you know not to disturb me when i am working" i said their was no malice in my tone

"sorry harry, theirs a minister fudge here to see you" dudley said

"ah yes, then it can't be helped" i said as i cleaned my quill put the stopper in the ink bottle and rose from my chair arranging the paperwork neatly

"they are in the sitting room i assume" i asked he nodded and i led the way there

"ah minister it is good to see you, i am going to assume this is not a social call" i asked

"unfortunately not, you are the heir to the house of potter, and the last of your house at that, we must make a trip to gringotts for your full inheritance. so you can properly prepare yourself" cornelius said

"prepare myself for what exactly" i asked

"i am director amelia bones, head of magical law enforcement, you have been unlawfully entered into the semi-annual trilord tournament. technically only named lords can enter but someone forced your name onto the contract, their is no way out, we have already captured the perpetrator but we fear they are trying to use you to resurrect the dark lord" amelia said cornelius flinched after receiving evidence that voldemort wasn't dead it became a hunt to find his ghostly form

i placed my head into my hands and sighed

"i see, and you have made sure there is no way i can back out" i asked they shook their heads

"very well, i shall come with you we shall go to gringotts" i said they nodded

"i'm gonna need armor" i muttered to myself
