Glory's POV

Well. After that fight with...Him...nothing was boring back in League. The moment we stepped foot into the League, everyone dispersed, begging to be shielded by the doors of their rooms. Clay ran off to probably eat something, Peril vanished to her room, Winter and Qibli have been avoiding each other for the past week since they've visited it that reporter. Moonwatcher? Moon for short? It didn't matter. What matter was that our League was falling apart and it has only been a few weeks!

I let out a groan as I walked out of the training hall, water bottle in hand. I had been training in there for the past two hours and have been doing so since the attack. Which EVERYONE should be doing but no. They had to be to concerned for their own personal lives. As I rounded the corner, my ears started to pick up Clay's voice. "Peril, who's coming?" he urged, I never heard anyone's voice been so terrified.

"No. No. No," cried a woman's voice. It was Peril. Okay scratch that. THAT'S a voice I've never heard to be terrified. My legs begged to be closer, to be near the conversation. To figure out the problem. But I shrugged it off. I wasn't going to let my curiosity get the best of me. But...no one would have to know I was eavesdropping.

"Peril, you have to tell us. What if it's something that will harm the League. The world?" another voice rang. Turtle.

"Someone from my past. Someone who I thought was long gone. Someone...who I saw die," Peril whispered. It was so lower and barely audible. I shifted closer, hinting the smell of...blood? Instantly a green sword appeared my hand, I smiled grimly at the reflex. Relaxing, the sword disappeared and I leaned closer to listen more carefully.

"Who--" A cell phone rang in the hall. I hissed and rushed to turn it off. As I tried to silent it, I noticed how it was addressed to all of us, "I have to take this. Peril, I understand that this is hard for you to...experience again. But when you find the way to tell us, I'll be here. I'll always be here for you, okay?" Peril must have nodded because Clay stepped out of the room with the phone against his ear. "Hello?" he asked, his voice echoing in mine.

I placed the phone against my ear and walked the opposite direction of Clay. "Yeah?"

"What?" growled Tsunami.

"Hey guys, um, there's this guy in the lobby who's wants to join the League," Sunny stated, her voice sounding weary.

"That is great information Sunny. Thank you so much for telling me this. You have permission to talk to him. What else would you like?" I snapped sarcastically.

"Hey, that's not nice, Glor," Clay's voice rang. I rolled my eyes.

"Just tell him that we're full," Tsunami's voice hissed. She sounded really irritated. I wonder why?

"You okay, Tsu? Sound's like we were interrupting something," I grinned. I loved teasing her. I didn't have to be there to see that she froze at the comment. "Is Riptide with you? Is that why you're so upset? Don't you think I forgot how you told me one night that Riptide was a hot, sexy, beefy--"

"Shut up, Glory," growled Tsunami.

"Wait...am I on speaker phone?" I wonder, my smile growing larger. Tsunami was silent for second. And although our other friends were silent on the other line, we were all curious for her answer. When she didn't answer after a few moments, my grin exploded into a huge smirk. Oh this was too good. "Riptide, if you can hear me say hi. If not you get an F in my class," I ordered.

And unsurprisingly, Riptide muttered a, "hi."

"Glory," Tsunami said lethally calm, "you have until the end of the day to make this up to me...or else it won't just be that reporter who's in the hospital." I let out a small chuckle and turned the attention back towards Sunny. Tsunami teasing wasn't over but it was for now.
