Kyrie Irving - For Dionne

"You excited?" My friend Britney asks

"Yes! " ever since she was able to get tickets, I've been excited. It was court side, and Duke university VS North Carolina

Once we got into the arena, there was so many people, I don't really know why.

We take our seats, and the opening starts

"We would like to introduce a guest to this special game! Kyrie Irving!"

Everyone clapped, and I recognized him as a NBA player from Cleveland Cavillers.

I was zoned out at his looks that I didn't listen to his speech, when he went to go sit down, he sat right next to me

"What's your name?" He asks "D-Dionne" I manage

He grins "well, you already know my name" I nod my head

"So, you go to Duke?" He asks, and I nod

"So did I" he says

"So, why are you such a big deal?" I ask, even though I already knew he was an NBA player.

He laughs at this "do you know something called the NBA?" I roll my eyes "no shit"

We talk for all the game, and he walks me out

"I had fun, you're a good person to talk to" he says

I smile "thanks" I say, as we walk around the parking lot

It's silent as we walk, circling the parking lot "this is kind of awkward" he finally says

I laugh "Ya, well, it's your pre-conditioning for your next game!" He laughs "well, not really, my team didn't make the playoffs"

I felt really awkward then "oh, uh, sorry?" I ask as a question

"Don't be, some things happen" he says with a shrug

It's almost 9:00 when we part "uh, I lost my number, can I have yours?" He asks

I smirk "why not?" We exchange numbers, and I look up at him "you know, your actually really tall" or maybe I'm really short...

He smiles, and hugs me, which I'm glad he didn't kiss me, that would be awkward...

I totally forgot about Britney, and I feel so bad, when I see her car, I run up to it, and see her making out with some guy...
