"Damn school, I'm so tired today and we've been flooded with a bunch of homework again," I said as I let myself fall on the bed and immediately snuggle my way into the comforter.
It's the weekend tomorrow, so they shouldn't be giving us tasks but whatever, I'mma go sleep now and I immediately dozed off.
As soon as I open my eyes, flash of rays struck my eye. I immediately covered it with the back of my hand and got up.
"Why the fuck are my curtains open?" I said out loud as I rushed my way to close it when I suddenly felt pain on the back of my head and fell on the floor.
"Oh young mister, I told you that we're going to your aunt's house today, didn't I?! Why are you still in your pajamas?!" my mom's shuttering voice echoed in my ears.
"Oh I'm sorry, I forgot. And I told you, ma! I don't wanna go" I reasoned out and pouted.
"oh, whatever you like! we're leaving" then she slammed the door shut.
I scratched the back of my head and stretched my hand to reach for my phone. Hmm, someone just sent a friend request.
"Raya? Who could this possibly be?" Confused but I just clicked the accept button anyway and went to the bathroom to start my daily routine.
I was brushing my teeth as I got out of the bathroom when I noticed my phone lit up from a notification. Oh, the new girl said hello. This is interesting.
Raya:

Me:
hi, do I know you?
I placed it back again on the side table then head my way to the bathroom to finish brushing my teeth and do the secrets that make me extra handsome.
I went out again, now feeling fresh when I lowered my gaze to my phone and saw that she sent a new message.
Raya:
I'd like to keep my identity hidden and I just have a few things to say.

You might be weirded out by this sudden outburst of mine but hear me out. This is pretty random but I would just like to express my feelings toward you.
I just wanna let you know that I like you and that I feel happy with just the sight of you, the way you smile and laugh with your friends, and how we randomly pass by each other. Even if you don't notice me, I feel all giggly already. It's like with just one glance, I can already say that I'll get a 51/50 on our quiz later.
I was about to type in my reply when she suddenly sent another one. Damn, how is she sending all these messages so quickly?

I feel really weirded out with myself because we don't really know each other and I don't know a lot of things about you, but still, I'm already feeling this way. You might think this is creepy, but do know that I don't stalk you or whatever. And if you could please keep this to yourself and don't let other people see it.
Wow, this is the very first time I received this kind of confession and it's really corny but fuck, it's also giving me some butterflies in my stomach.

Well anyway, this confession is not for me to hope for any reciprocation, I just really want to let this out and let you know that there's someone out there admiring you from afar. It's like letting you know.
And maybe to also forget and say that at least I said it.
Oh is that so? What a waste to confess only to move on. Wanting for peace of mind only to rob me of one. Arghhh
But who can this person be? Can it be my classmates pulling a prank on me? Well, that's a possibility.
I shrugged as I kept on bugging her to tell me her section but she just wouldn't budge, she even gave me an attitude and used that emoji with the eyebrows raised. This one is really something but I don't wanna waste my time anymore so I just left her on seen and went outside my room.
Fast forward and it's now again Monday and I can't help but whine when our teacher asked us to bring an English book tomorrow for an activity. That's easy but I don't read books! I don't have any, especially if it's English! Now, where am I supposed to look for one?
I was busy spacing out when an idea popped into my mind and I immediately took my phone from my pocket. I rummage through my contacts and found her. Raya! Girls these days like to read on Wattpad and shit and she might be one of those so here goes nothing.

I immediately messaged her and waited for her reply, but to no avail, it didn't come. Our next subject teacher came in so I had to put my phone away and I didn't even feel it vibrate not until lunchtime came.
Took her way too long to respond. Yes, I'm demanding. I'm her crush anyway so that's fine.

Hi, umm I was wondering if you like reading books?
Raya:
Oh? yeah, I love reading so much!! Why'd you ask?

Well, do you collect books?

It took her a few minutes to reply. What's taking so long?

Now that's why she didn't immediately respond earlier. How embarrassing! This is all my classmate's fault.

She probably thinks I'm just making up excuses. How annoying. But at least, I get to borrow a book.
We ended up talking about a lot more things. And even ended up talking again in the evening. She's very intriguing. Hell, I'm actually even starting to look like I'm the one crushing on her and she's the one tolerating my annoying shits. Did she use witchcraft on me or something? Seems like the table has turned for us. LoL.

Lemme teach you then. You can go to our room tomorrow and I'll tutor you.
Such a boastful statement from me. But so what? I'm really good at it.
I was just laughing at myself for the silly things I'm thinking about when I accidentally pressed the call button and my soul almost left my body. I was quick to end it tho. Phew. I immediately said that it was an accident but she seems to not believe me again.
Raya:
Both pass to your invitation. Don't wanna go to your class and don't wanna call.
I rolled my eyes.
