Today started like every day say for Rosa, she woke up at noon and got dressed into her black vest-like dress with a black and white flannel, she paired it with fishnets and a black high-top converses, it was April and had begun to get warmer. She headed to her kitchen in her small studio-like flat where she made some coffee and thought about what she'd do today.
This month had been hard for her she had recently lost her job of 2 years working in the best coffee shop, It was only meant to be a part-time job whilst she studied at uni but she had so much fun there and the staff and customers were the best people she had ever met. It was sudden and unexpected but because she was only part-time they couldn't keep her
the thing was she wasn't working enough to make up the profits for the shop and there were slowly losing business, due to her being the only part-time staff it was easier to let her go. The rest of the month had been hard; she had also been kicked out of her band of three years due to her being in uni and the boys wanted to be something more than a pub band on a Saturday night but she wanted to keep things slower as she was the manager and bassist of that band, she had also planned so many big gigs for the future but thought the more regular Saturday night gigs they did the more recognition for the band so they could play bigger venues and have more listeners, we had an album out but no one had listened to it since it came out two years ago. it killed her to be out of the band but that was life and she tried moving on but then her boyfriend of a year had broken up with her and so life hadn't been going her way recently but at least she'd finally finished 90% of the exams and course work for uni, you see she had been studying music specifically music management and sound engineering. Music was a hobby of hers for years and she wanted nothing more than to pursue it as a career.
so today is the first day she got dressed and wanted to go out but she wasn't much of a party girl so she called her friend Coraline.
You see Coraline was a party girl she was doing fashion and costume in the same uni building as Rosa and that's how they met, Coraline was always trying to convince Rosa to go out clubbing and partying but she was never up for it. But today it was all she wanted to do: drink till she dropped and don't get her wrong, she was in a semi-successful punk band and had a fair share of life, the "rockstar" but sometimes she couldn't stick it.
Eventually, she called Coraline and happily wanted to take Rosa out for a night out and told her to be ready by 7 pm and that she would be bringing her new boyfriend. Now one thing you should know about their friendship is that both girls are polar opposites Rosa was awkward, antisocial, nerdy, very music induced and dressed very dark and alternative, with dyed black and red hair with dozens of tattoos and piercings, with the palest skin you had ever seen with such cold icy blue eyes whilst Coraline, was tan with beautiful sandy blonde hair, she was always wearing makeup and had the prettiest green eyes you had ever seen, she didn't want any tattoos she always said they'd look awful when she's old but she does have her ears pierced so there's a starting point but Coraline dressed very preppy and colourful and she's a beam of colour and happiness and she can talk to absolutely anyone. One thing that stands out to everyone that meets the two is the difference in weight Rosa was always a little more chubby than Coraline but everyone noticed.
