Travelling to new places and discovering new things is my favourite hobby. When you travel you achieve peace of mind, enhance your creativity, improve your communication skills, boost your confidence, explore new culture and traditions.
Day 1 and Day 2 The first rays of the sunlight lit up my room. It was 6:45 am in the morning I was super excited that day. The dawn chorus of melodic birdsong drifted in. In the early morning the road was very much empty hardly a single vehicle was there. Our first term exams had just been over and we were free from the burden of studies at least for a few days. Our school plans excursion trips to various places during the autumn break. I always wanted to go on such a trip and have fun with my friends and Today is that day. It was overall a pleasant day. It is well that "if you have a big day tomorrow but you can't fall asleep because your to excited and you can't stop thinking about it" i was in the same phase as I was going to travel alone today along with my school friends. 11:00 am was our reporting time. I was ready and all set to go at around 10:30 only. My mom packed delicious food for me, even I bought chips and chocolates. While going to school i carried a big heavy bag which was almost 5 kg heavy it includes my clothes, my food and along with it I took my diary also in which I will update every incident and detail of the journey. After all No matter how much suffering or how much fun you went through, you never wanted to let go of those memories. My mother was bit scared as it was the first time that i would be out for 5 days. So she started giving me instructions that always stay with your teachers and friends, don't go here and there, don't lean out of the train, don't stand on the edge of the train door and all those things. It was literally the 10th time that she was giving all these instructions i was literally feed up listening to it. Soon my father dropped me at my school . From my standard only 5 students where there rest all were our seniors. Gathering was there in the nursery classroom.

I was the first one to come. I saw that the whole classroom was empty later all started coming one by one. Soon our teachers also gave us the instructions and made groups and told that we need to travel in the same group throughout the journey. You guys maybe wondering where I am going ahh, well i was going to Solan, Himachal Pradesh. Soon our school bus took all of us to the Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (CST Station). We were travelling through Rajdhani Express.

Journey by train is the best if you have enough time and have to travel long distance. This is the only means of transport that allows you to sleep comfortably during the journey. And as it was my first time travelling through train i was literally so excited. I knew this was going to be a very thrilling and adventurous journey. The station itself had many stories to tell. We checked into the station and located the platform where the train was going to arrive. Almost 30 minutes later, our train arrived. The train was pretty old but had a very attractive color combination of maroon and blue painted on it. It had "Made In India" written on it in big letters and our national flag was painted next to it. We felt very proud about it we were much excited about this journey. Since this was my first time travelling by train, I wanted to experience the moment at its fullest. I sat at the window side sit along with my seniors who were sitting beside me. Later we meet many new passengers who were sitting ahead of us. Train moved was something new to me, I had heard it in the movies but experiencing it first time. I was thinking about how the sound was being created as the train rolled on the tracks, the giant size and huge weight of the train could be realized as the train accelerated and the sound got louder. It felt so amazing to imagine that the train was still but the trees and the houses were moving. We saw beautiful views of nature outside. We could see the concrete jungles, buildings and houses constructed alongside the train track. The beauty of green trees is what I liked the most and wished we could have more of them, the beauty of nature I experienced in the moving train seemed to be more lively and soothing than the commercial areas. Later I took out a book and started reading it. Soon we got our lunch. The food was very delicious.
