Chapter 1: Taking the First Step

Jake Sully and his family went to seek sanctuary to a place far away from their home in a forest where the Omatikaya Clan lives. Sky People went back to Pandora to seek revenge for the death of Miles Quaritch. They decided to overtake their world once more. Everything was all well and balanced until the return. The Sully kids were captured at the old shack where Jake and Quaritch fought.

Eventually, they all escaped leaving Spider behind. After an argument between the couple, Neytiri agreed and decided to migrate to the Metkayina Clan for the sake of her family's safety. There they went on a journey to another island. A place that will leave no trace for the Sky People. It was a long journey as they ride with their own Ikrans.

Finally, they arrived and landed together. "Great Warrior Toruk Makto, what brings you here?" Asked Tonowari, the leader of the Metkayina.

"Olo'eyktan Tonowari, I see you. I seek sanctuary for my family." Jake Sully asked for a place to stay and a place for them to call their new home.

"We are reef people, you are forest people. Your skills are nothing here." Tonowari said. Ronal, Tonowari's mate began checking the Sully family, examining their slim tails and small arms that are not fit for diving. Not even fit enough to stay with them.

Neteyam and Lo'ak we're surpised to see two young Metkayina boys coming towards them. Aonung and Roxto looked at them with a smirk on their faces. "Look at his tail." Aonung said. Neteyam looked at him and raised his eyebrows. He thought to himself how this boy made his heart skip a beat. He has never seen a pretty looking Na'vi boy in his life. Aonung continued to judge the way their tails move around and was too focused on Neteyam for without any reason. Aonung thought that his eyes are a beautiful yellow color and his hair is braided nicely.

"Their arms are small and their tails are weak." exclaimed Ronal as she put Kiri's hand up and began showing it to the people. "They have demon blood! They're not even true Na'vi." All of Metkayina people gasped in shock full of hatred as they see the newcomers as outcasts. Jake showed his hand to everyone to remind them that he was one of the Sky people and now lives in Pandora to make peace and bring peace. "Look! I was one of the Sky People, now I am Na'vi." Jake assured.

Neytiri tried to explain to the people that his mate was Toruk Makto and brought the clans together to fight the Sky people years ago and brought victory to Pandora. Ronal on the other hand thought Eywa turned her back on them since they seek somewhere to hide rather than fight.

"I'm done with war, I just want to keep my family safe." said Jake, begging to be taken. He can't fathom the thought of his family getting killed by the demon they are escaping from knowing damn well he is the target.

Tonowari and Ronal was hesitant at first especially Ronal but they have a family to protect too. They understood and decided to take them in. "Toruk Makto and his family will stay with us. Teach them our ways and they will be like babies, taking their first step." He spoke as Tuk said her thanks afterwards. "My son Aonung and daughter Tsireya will guide you." The eldest young Metkayina was hesitant. "Father why—." "It is decided." Tonowari ended. Aonung sighed and subtly rolled his eyes.

Later that day after Tsireya led the Sully family to their home and finishing their short family meeting telling the kids to be in their best behavior to learn the ways of the water with the Metkayina kids. Lo'ak and Neteyam made their way out and jumped in the water then with Kiri and Tuk behind them.

Tsireya and her brother Aonung with his best friend Roxto led the way underwater within the reefs with different see creatures. The Sully kids can't breathe for long yet underwater so they go up to seek for air almost every few minutes— it's not the case with Kiri though. She stayed underwater for a long time without struggling and kinda disappeared from their sight for a while.
