The principal said, as he shook my hand, "thank you principal jones!" I smiled, "yes thank you" my step mom said, "of course, we will get you started, on finding your dorm" the principal said, going onto his computer.
"Wait excuse me?" My step mom said, "dorms?" My step dad asked, "well yes, this school has dorms" the principal said, "we can't have our daughter staying at school!" My step mom said, "mom please! I really wanna go here!" I said.
My step mom sighed, "fine!" She grumbled, "alrighty then" the principal said, as he grabbed a key, than handing it to me, "you'll be sharing a room with a girl named, pixal" the principal said.
"They sound nice, but we will have to head back home to pack" I said, the principal nodded, "take your time" he said, as my step parents got up, leaving the room, as I followed.
I was so excited, I haven't been in school for a while, well ever sense I've been adopted, my step parents always had someone tutor me.
"I don't really want you too go!" My step mom said, "mom, don't start!" I sighed.
"I'm sorry, but I still believe you should go to a private school" my step mom insisted, I shook my head, "can I please just first, see how that's school like!" I grumbled, my mom sighed and nodding than leaving.
"Bye sweetheart! Call if needed!" My mom said, as her driver drove away, I cringed a bit after she called me 'sweetheart' whatever.
I started walking looking for my dorm, as I remembered the number, '548...' I keep re saying in my head, I finally found it!
I fumbled my keys out of my pocket, than opening the door, I than saw what I assumed was pixal, sitting on her bed, doing her homework.
"Oh hello!" Pixal chirped, "my names harumi" I smiled, "I've heard, that will be your bed" she pointed at the top bunk, I smiled, "ooh, nice" I said, I placed my things on the floor, "is this my wardrobe?" I asked, pixal nodded.
As I was placing my things away, pixal spoke up, "want me to show you around harumi? After school?" Pixal asked.
I smiled, "of course, and you can call me Rumi"
