CHAPTER ONE: crush, chop & burn part one

CARLOS ROSS HAD PULLED HIS BEANIE IN FRONT OF HIS EYES, PUTTING EARBUDS IN. He had walked into the wall.
"Carlos!" Tasha yelled out, worryingly. "Stop being dramatic."
"I feel as if my eyes were burnt out of my head," Carols replied as Donald opened the door. "I'd rather shove a medal rod in my ears."
"Welcome to your new home, Mrs. Davenport," Donald tell the woman, having carried her bridal-style.
"Why, thank you, Mr. Davenport."
Carols put his music up higher, muttering about how his earbuds never worked.
"You're welcome, mrs. Davenport," Donald replied.
"We get it-you guys are married," Leo tells the two. "It's getting old." Leo drops the bags, eyes widening at the sight he saw. "Wow! You got this big house just from inventing things? Way to go, mom! That's a husband."
Tasha quickly kissed Donald.
"What's this?" Carlos asked, moving forward to the tall metal rod next to the couch.
"That is my last way creation," Donald stepped between the machine and young teen boy. "Davenport industries first completely interactive 3-D TV." He turned it on, the machine lighting up and a hologram.
When the players hit the ball out of the field, it had actually came out of the hologram. Leo moved back to catch it, bumping into the wall.
"Watch the vase, termite!" A voice yelled.
"Mom, I think the little voice inside my head is back," Leo says
"No. I heard it," Carlos speaks.
"No. This is Eddy. He's my smart home system. Eddie, this is my new stepson, Leo. And his friend; Carlos. Removed I told you they are moving in today?" Donald explained.
"Hey, welcome. Everything here is mine," the man says.
"Uh, Leo, Carlos, why don't you go check out your new bedroom? Just go straight down that hallway, and when you see the room with the video games and the action figured and the 50-foot-screen tv, keep walking-that's mine."
