Chapter 45: Game Plans

I looked in the locker room that it was that we were all in just now. As it was sure as hell a lot nicer than the locker room that we had back at our own school, at that. As it was that I almost wanted to smile as I knew that it was in fact the case.
How ever, with all of the thoughts that did in fact just seem to be racing through my head just now. That simply did in fact just seem to be some thing that was impossible. As it was that I just then did in fact begin to start to breathe in a bit of a rough sigh to my self.
Just as soon as it was that I did in fact just seem to think that way. As it was that I then did in fact just seem to start to look at all of my team mates. As I heard a few of them talking to one another just now.
The main voice that I did in fact just seem to hear. Just so happened to be the voice of Peter. As it was clear to me that he was in fact speaking to his brother Austin, all at the exact same time too.
As it was that I just then seemed to realize that it was the case. I then did in fact just seem to let out a bit of a rough sigh to my self. As I then began to start to listen as to just what ever it was that he felt like he needed to say to his brother, all at once.
"Who would have thought that we would be here now?" He said, as it was that he seemed to have a big smile on his face just now. As it was that he did in fact just seem to look all around the arena, never the less.
As it was that I kind of smiled as I knew that it was the case my self. As I could not help but to feel good about the way that things were going. Even if it was that the other team had in fact treated us like shit before the game.
It was to be expected though, as I knew that Xavier had told me that was what sports were. As it was that I just then did in fact just seem to shake my head a little bit to my self. As it was that I then did in fact get my focus and attention on the fact that Austin was now speaking back to Peter.
As it was that I then did in fact just seem to start to realize it was the case of course. I then did in fact just seem to start to go right on ahead. And I then did in fact begin to start to listen as to just what ever it was that he felt like he must say in the very first place any ways, at that.
"Well... I mean the odds were in our favor... 66% of the schools were gonna make it no matter what..." He said, all at the exact same time too, at that. As it was that he then did in fact just seem to roll his eyes at his brother.
As it was clear that he was trying to act like he was the smart one here. And that it was that his brother was in fact some sort of idiot. Which we all knew that the both of them were in fact idiots, never the less.
I kind of rolled my eyes a little bit to my self, at that. As it was clear that I was not the only one that was listening in on them. As it was that I just then did in fact begin to start to hear the voice of my best friend Brandon.
As it was that I then did in fact just seem to look on over to him. And I then did in fact begin stare at him right in to his eyes. As I then listened as to just what ever it was that he felt like he must say just now.
"Come on... You guys are day ones and saying that shit? You know we are a group of misfits..." He said, all at the exact same time too, at that. As it was that he then did in fact just seem to bump the both of them on their shoulders, as well.
It was clear that he was trying to make them all feel better about all of this, none the less. But it was clear that it was not at all working just now. As I was sure that a lot of the people on this team did not like to be considered a misfit.
I noticed that it was that Steve, who was a lot more of a popular kid in school. Did in fact just seem to squint his eyes at Brandon for a few moments. Before it was that he eventually then did in fact just seem to turn his head away him self.
As it was that he had in fact just seemed to have done as such a thing like that all of the sudden. I then did in fact just seem to simply let out a little bit of a soft sigh to my self. Before it was that I just then spoke to my self a little bit under my own breathe.
"Hell... I'm a misfit..." I did in fact just seem to say to my self, all at the exact same time too. As it was that I felt like I was in fact proud to have that tag on me. As it was that I felt like I was proud to be different than the normal boring crowd of people.
Though, either which way it did in fact just seem to be to me. I kind of felt like I was not brave or bold enough to say that out loud. Such as it was that my best friend did in fact feel like he should in fact do.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to have thought that way. I kind of felt like it was a bit wrong of me. As I knew that I was in fact the leader of the team, and that I out of every one, should have been the one who had said that.
I shook my head a little bit at the thought of that how ever. As it was that I just then did in fact just seem to start to hear the voice of Braxton. As it was that he then did in fact just seem to start to speak up to every one in the locker room.
It seemed like he was actually doing a good job at leading the team just now, so it seemed. As it was that I seemed to let out a little bit of a soft sigh to my self at the thought of that. As I just then began to listen as to just what ever it was that he felt like he must say, all at once.
"Alright... Enough of that... We need to be ready for when coach comes back in... Remember how important this is..." He seemed to say to every one, all at the exact same time too. As it was that I just then did in fact just seem to see that every one. Including my self, did in fact just seem to nod back to him.
I then did in fact just seem to breathe in a bit more of a heavy sigh to my self at the thought of that. As it was that I then did in fact just seem to close my eyes to try to wake my self up. Which seemed to be the exact opposite thing that it was that you needed to do, if you were trying to do as such a thing like that, none the less.
Either which way it did in fact just seem to be how ever. It did in fact not seem to matter to a single thing as well. As it was that I just then began to start to hear the voice of Xaiver. As it was that he then began to speak to every one in here.
It was clear to me that he had in fact just got in to the room with the team, never the less. As I suddenly then did in fact just seem to open my eyes. As I then began to listen as to just what ever it was that he felt like he needed to say just now.
"It isn't that important kids... I think you need to calm down... They're too much in your heads already..." He said, all at the exact same time too. As it was that I was in fact quite a bit lost as to just what it was that he had in fact even just said.
As it was the exact opposite of just what it was that he had been telling me at home all week. As I just then did in fact just seem to suddenly squint my eyes at Xavier. As he did in fact not seem to have his eyes on me at all, what so ever, just now.
I was not too sure if it was that he knew that what he was saying was wrong, or not. But either way, I didn't get much time to think about it. As I just then began to start to hear the voice of Zaire, all at once.
As it was that he just then did in fact begin to start to suddenly speak back to his coach. As it was that I then did in fact begin to start to suddenly look right on over to him. As I then did in fact begin to start to listen as to just what ever it was that he felt like he must say of course.
"What do you mean? Isn't Trevor trying to go to the NBA or something? You don't think this won't get the eyes of scouts everywhere?" He said, all at the exact same time too. As it was that he then did in fact seem to be raising a valid point on just what it was that he had even said.
As it was that I did in fact just seem to suddenly seem to blink my eyes a few times, at that. That was when it was that I just then did in fact just seem to turn my head right back on over to Xavier, at that. As it was that I was in fact quite a bit interested on just how he was about to respond to that.
It was clear that the rest of the team was in fact thinking the same way as I was. As it was that Xavier clearly noticed as to the fact that every one was staring at him. Though he some how did in fact seem to manage to keep him self calm.
I was not all too sure as to just how he was always able to keep his composure in situations like these. As it was that I couldn't help but to be a bit amazed at it. As I then began to start to listen as to what ever it was that he felt like he must say, all at the exact same time as well.
"Trevor is 14, and he is still growing... I just want this to be about every one... Yes... I started coaching for him... But I have grown fond of all of you..." He said, all at the exact same time as well, at that. As it was that I kind of just blinked my eyes a few times as to just what he had said.
As it was that I was not all too sure if he was telling the truth. As it was that I knew that he always seemed to get in to a lot of verbal fights with the kids. And he always seemed to come back home not all too happy a lot of the time, none the less.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to have felt that way for just a little bit more time. That was when it was that I just then once again began to hear the voice of Brandon. As it was that he just then did in fact decide that it was in fact his turn to speak.
As it was that I kind of just seemed to look right on over to my best friend. As I blinked my eyes a few times all of the sudden. Before I then began to start to listen as to just what ever it was that he felt like he must say, all at the exact same time too.
"Yes... Let's not make this game about who is better... Let's go out there and play and have fun... We make this competitive, than we take all the joy and fun out of this..." He said, all at the exact same time too. As it seemed like he was in fact agreeing on what it was that Xavier had said.
I kind of rolled my eyes a little bit as to just what it was that he had said to us all. As it was that I felt like I almost wanted to speak out loud my self just now. As to the fact as to just how none of this made any sense in a moment like that.
How ever, I just seemed to keep my mouth shut this time, never the less, all at once. As it was that I just then did in fact begin to start to hear the voice of Pearce, at that. As it was that he just then did in fact decide to step up and speak him self.
As it was that I just then did in fact just seem to look at the football star. As he seemed to have a big smile on his face as he continued to speak to every one of course. As I just then did in fact begin to start to listen as to just what ever it was that he felt like he must say him self, at that.
"I know a lot of you aren't going to be back next year... But I am coming back for my senior year... I can't wait for this again!" He said, all at the exact same time too. As it was that I just then did in fact just seem to blink my eyes a few times, at that.
As it was that I then did in fact just seem to smile as to what it was that he had said. As I was not all too sure out of what it was that every one had in fact said so far. That this was the one thing that it was that had in fact made me smile, never the less.
As it was that I just then did in fact just seem to start to go right on ahead all of the sudden. And I then did in fact just seem to breathe in quite a bit of a rough sigh to my self. I then did in fact just seem to start to all of the sudden step up and speak, at that.
As it was that every one in the room did in fact seem to turn their heads right on over to me. As it kind of made me gulp as to the fact that it was the case. As I knew they were all listening as to just what ever it was that I felt like I needed to say my self.
"I agree with every one... I know that I want to go to the league... But I love you all, and you're all a team and all friends to me... I'm not focused on going to the league right now..." I said, all at the exact same time too. As it was that I just then did in fact just seem to look at Xavier, at that.
As it was that I also then did in fact just seem to suddenly start to nod right back on over to him of course. Just as soon as it was that I had in fact said what I had said. As it was a little bit adding on to just what it was that he had in fact told the whole team.
As I knew that this was in fact a moment that I did in fact not need to make all about me. As I knew that this was a good way to build team chemistry and leadership. As it was that I just then did in fact seem to let out a soft sigh to my self, all at the exact same time as well, of course.
Just as soon as it was that I had in fact just seemed to have done as such a thing like that. I then in the end, began to start to hear the voice of Oliver, all at once. As he just then did in fact just seem to start to speak to every one that was in here.
Just as soon as it of course did in fact just seem to be the case, all at the exact same time too. That was when it was that I just then did in fact begin to start to breathe in a rough sigh to my self. As I then began to listen as to just what ever it was that he felt like he needed to say, none the less.
"Oh... I am so excited to get ready to go on the court... Why don't we just go out there now?" He said, all at the exact same time as well. As it was that I could in fact just seem to see him shaking in his sneakers, just as soon as it was that he had said what he had said.
As it was that I kind of then did in fact just seem to blink my eyes a few times, at that. As it was that he did in fact kind of bring up a fair point, and a fair thing, as well. As I just then did in fact just seem to start to suddenly go right on ahead, all at once.
And I then did in fact just seem to start to breathe in quite a bit of a rough sigh to my self. As it was that I just then did in fact begin to start to look right on at Xavier. As it was that Xavier of course, did in fact begin to start to speak to every one that was in the locker room staring at him just now.
I stared at him with a little bit of a blank look my self, of course. As it really didn't matter, as he was once again not looking at me. As I just then did in fact begin to start to listen as to just what ever it was that he felt like he needed to say to me, all at the exact same time too.
"Well we have to wait til the game ends... And the buzzer sounds..." He seemed to say to every one, all at the exact same time as well. As it was that he just seemed to have his eyes wide, just as soon as it was that he had said what he had said.
As it was that I was in fact a little bit lost and confused as to just what it was that he had meant. As it was that I just seemed to blink my eyes a few times, all at the exact same time as well. As I just then did in fact begin to start to come to terms with reality, all at once, never the less.
As it was that I just then did in fact begin to start to wake my self up, all at the exact same time too. I then did in fact just seem to shake my head a little bit to my self. As it was that I then began to look at just what it was that was all around me.
As it was that I did in fact just seem to do as such a thing like that, all at the exact same time too. That was when it was that I just then did in fact just seem to shake my head. As I then began to start to all of the sudden speak to my self a little bit under my breathe.
"You idiot... This is a tournament... Other people have to play first..." I said, all at the exact same time too, never the less. As it was that I knew that this was in fact day one, all at the exact same time too. As we just so happened to be the 2nd team that was in fact going to play today.
As it was that I just then began to start to nod a little bit to my self as I then remembered it was the case. As I then did in fact just seem to breathe in a soft sigh to my self. As it was that thing then did in fact just seem to calm its self down, at that.
Just as soon as it was that I had once again felt that way of course. I then did in fact just seem to start to hear the voice of Cody, all at the exact same time too. As it was that he just then did in fact just seem to start to step up and speak, all at once.
As it was that I just then began to start to realize it was the case. I of course did in fact just seem to look right on over to him. As I then began to start to listen as to just what ever it was that he felt like he must say, all at the exact same time as well.
"Well... What are we going to do when we are out there? We have watched the tapes and all..." He said, all at the exact same time too. As that was in fact some thing that I felt like I had failed to do my self. As it was in fact some thing that had in fact been a little bit of a last second thing, as well.
Though, I felt like I had seen plenty of it on TV as of lately, all at the exact same time too. As it was that I knew that it was not really good enough. But it would in fact have to do for the time being at least, at that.

"Yes... You have all watched your films... So now it's time for game plans..."
