morning came through and hit jeonghan's face when he slowly opened his eyes, telling him it was finally the day the trio was waiting for. a small smile appeared on his face when he thought about how he had planned the entire day for his lover. turned around slightly to see joshua still heavy asleep and he took this as a cue to wake up the giant on the other side,"cheollie~~ morning..wake up its joshuji's birthday we need to start early!" jeonghan whispered. seunghceol opened his eyes and looked down at jeonghan and said, "oh, morning hannie~~ and yeah let's get going now it's already time we start of with our plan." seungcheol giggled with a husky voice, sending shivers down jeonghan's spine. the two leave a sleepy joshua on the bed and sneakily leave the room.

the two lovers go to the bathroom get a toothbrush and start of their morning routine, seungcheol was still brushing when jeonghan was washing his face with his foam cleanser. jeonghan being the little devil he is, decided to rub some foam on seungcheol's face at which seunghceol replied with a low groan. jeonghan just giggled and continued doing his morning skincare, once both of them were done they secretly left the shared apartment, and headed to the nearest 7-eleven.

i woke up and felt the side of my bed empty. ok what the fuck?! the first thing i encounter in the morning is the absence of my lovers??! i grabbed my phone from the nightstand and checked the time, it was 9 in the morning on a Sunday.. aren't Sunday's meant for sleeping in? why the fuck would you wake up early on a holiday?? ok what the actual heck where did these two go? i got up from the bed and searched the bathroom in our bedroom....nope no-one's here for sure. and so i walked out of our shared bedroom....we surely were together last night and they even wished me my birthday....so where are they now? my train of thoughts was interrupted when a weird smell hit my nostrils. ok....this doesn't smell good. so i rushed down to the kitchen only to find the two throwing flour at...EACHOTHER? ?! "oh god! what is burning?"i panicked. "cheollie~~ you woke him up.." Jeonghan whined," oh please it was your loud ass that woke Shu baby up so do not blame me you dumbhead!" Seungcheol replied with sass." hey! i told you not to call me that didn't i?"Jeonghan replied with annoyance." guys! please can we pay attention to the burnt......dough?" i intertwined. "sorry joshuji....we burnt the cake ..." Jeonghan replied. that was when i realized the two were making a cake....for my birthday...."wait.....you 2 were trying to bake a cake. ...for my birthday? "

Author's pov:

Joshua was never habitual to being treated as someone special, first it was his parents, they had always neglected shua and that had left a huge impact on him, then during his highschool years, he was always the friend who was just in the group cause he existed, no one would notice even if he was absent, and last few years he himself had problems regarding considering his opinions first, he always was made to think that he wasn't needed and that he was just a bother to the people around him , only last month did he start dating Jeonghan and SeungCheol, the two were the ones who proposed him, he at first thought all of this was either a prank or a dare so he played along but when he found out that both of them seriously wanted to date him, and had genuine feelings for him, he felt bad for the two, for him he felt like he didn't deserve being happy, he didn't deserve kind people and, Jeonghan and SeungCheol were the kindest people he met.

he couldn't process things, he was left numb, he wanted too say something but he couldn't no words came out of his mouth, no one till today made an effort to make him smile except for the two, without realizing, he had tears pooling in his eyes. Jeonghan noticed this and said," shua? you ok? are you crying because we burnt the cake? oh my god! we are sorry it was totally my fault, Cheol told me not to leave the dough in the oven for too long but i didn-" before he could complete his sentence, shua silently whispered, "I love you both." SeungCheol noticed how Joshua was shivering, so he walked over to him and engulfed him in a hug and soothingly said," we both love you as well ok? please shua, don't cry we are sorry hmm?" SeungCheol was patting shua's back when Joshua broke the hug and said," you 2 don't have to apologize it was not because the cake burnt but instead because you both were trying to make me feel special..." Joshua took a long breath and walked over to the couch and motioned the two to come and settle down with him, the two obliged and went to the couch. "the thing is...i honestly don't deserve you two....you both are nice, kind and shower me with so much love and affection, till today i can't tell you how much i loved you. you both love me for who i am, no-one ever did that. everyone i met in my life, treated me like a second option and left......which is why i can't even imagine you two actually wanting to date me, but when i saw you both making an effort to do something special for me, i couldn't process it, and hence i just went numb.....im sorry" shua whispered the last part. Jeonghan and Seungcheol silently took in everything and realized, how hard it was for their lover all throughout his life, how he always had a difficult time trying to love and accept himself. so Jeonghan finally broke the silence and said, "Joshua Hong.. ...we both will make sure that you realize, how very worthy you are of the love, attention, affection we both give you, we both will make sure, to never let you go through any of that again." Joshua couldn't' t just look at him, and kissed Jeonghan, when they broke the kiss, Seungcheol kissed Joshua and rested his forehead on his, and silently said, "love, let's always be together lets never part...i want us to be the forever people read in romance books". Jeonghan then shouted excitedly," ok!!!!!! now let's go and celebrate joshuji's birthday afterall when we return back home, the birthday boy has other surprises to open, don't you shua baby?" Jeonghan smirked.
