"Why do I have to participate in the Secret Santa? I hardly know the guys... I wouldn't know what to buy for the one I'm gonna draw. How about you let me get something for you?" I said to Rhea as we made our way to the others.

"That's not an option whatsoever. You play along. It's supposed to be fun. Don't think about it so much. You'll think of something funny. There's no reason for you to know everyone 100%. And besides, that's exactly why I want you to join. It gives you a chance to spend time with the guys," she replied as we walked towards the catering where the guys were waiting for us.

I had not been here that long and therefore had not had much to do with the others. But now Rhea threw me into the deep end. And since she was stubborn beyond all measure, I actually knew before I asked that I had no chance to back out.

"All right.... I have written all the names on little pieces of paper. Everyone draws a name and has to buy a small gift for the person whose name you drew. Don't tell us what name you drew. The budget is $25 max. We'll exchange gifts at the last Raw before Christmas. Got it? Good... Y/N? You first." she said, and then held out the hat in which she had put the pieces of paper with the names.

I sighed deeply. Maybe I would get lucky and draw her name. I put my hand in and grabbed one of the pieces out of the hat. When we had all drawn a name, we went our separate ways to see who we had to get a gift for.

Carefully, I unfolded the small paper piece. Damian. God, that was really hard. What was I supposed to get him? As far as I could tell, we didn't have anything in common. But somehow I had to find something he would like. Because the last thing I wanted was to disappoint someone on Christmas.

I thought about it for a long time until I finally had an idea. Instagram would certainly help me to find something that the man might like.

---------------

My God, I was so nervous. Today was the day we would exchange our gifts. And I was not at all sure that I had made a good choice. Even though no one knew who the gift was from, I still couldn't calm my nerves. Probably it would be clearly written on my face that it was from me, if he didn't like it.

I tried to concentrate on the gift I had received. Whoever had chosen it, had done a good job. And had obviously noticed that my toiletry bag was already about to fall apart. Because my gift was a bag made of white leather with my initials stitched on it.

"Oh my God!" I gasped as I ran my hands over the fine stitching.

"Oh someone likes her gift!" teased Rhea.

"That's... I don't even know what to say!" I stammered.

"Damn!" muttered Damian on the other side.

Hearing his deep voice, my head immediately shot up. Was that a good damn or a bad damn? Had I been that wrong with my gift?

"Damn indeed! My gosh, that's awesome! I'm really jealous I didn't get this!" said Rhea who also reacted to Damian's statement.

"Too bad for you, nightmare." he chuckled as he looked closely at the skull-shaped whiskey set with shot glasses and decanter.

-------------------------

"Hey Y/N! Wait a minute..." Damian called after me as I made my way to change.

"What's up?" I asked as I stopped and turned to face him.

"Nothing... I just wanted to thank you for the nice gift" he said nonchalantly.

"What, you know it was from me?" I wanted to know as I could already feel the heat rising in my cheeks.

"Yeah... it was pretty obvious from your face. Thanks. I love it. And I'm glad you like your gift just as much." he replied with a smirk.

"Um... does that mean the bag was from you?" I asked as I played with my fingers.

"It was. I had a little help. And I may have cheated a little to get your name." he explained to me.

"Oh... and why would Rhea do that?" I replied as I immediately realized who exactly had a hand in this.

"Well... because I asked her to. But anyway... would you like to join us for a drink later?" he wanted to know.

"I would like that very much. But only under one condition...." I said.

"And that would be?" asked Damian.

"That just the two of us go." I said.

"That sounds even better. And Y/N?" he replied.

"Hmm?" I went on, looking up at him.

"Merry Christmas." said Damian and then leaned in to me.

He gave me a little kiss on the cheek. Much to my surprise. I looked up at him. A smile played around his lips as his dark eyes sparkled.

"Merry Christmas." I whispered.

They were indeed Merry Christmas already.
