ACT ONE-HOMECOMING

Gwen looks around as she walks on the ferry. Her dad would kill her if he knew what she was about to do. The girl took her camera and took pictures of the people entering, a gew looking very criminal. As the ferry leaves she looks around and sees a tiny flying red spider through the window. She takes a picture and follows it.

Gwen looks at a few bad looking men and Spiderman getting at it. He disarms two guys with the spiderweb, kicks another guy, and slams him. Spiderman ducks from a guy's Shocker gauntlet, which gets caught in a gate. Two guys get behind him and he throws them. Gwen, unknown of the danger she was in looked in fascination as she took pictures.

Spiderman went towards the dock where the cars are and left the guys he was fighting. Gwen smiled as she wanted to follow but heard men yelling they were from the FBI. She runs towards the sound and sees a man with mechanical wings coming out of a car. "Look out, look out, look out. Move, move, move!" Spiderman yells as the man with wings starts throwing cars. He didn't have an accent anymore. "He's like a... a" Gwen thinks. "Vulture!"

Vulture hits Spiderman, causing him to fall into the water. He then fires energy blasts at a man's arm. Spiderman shoots his web at the arm gun guy, but misses. He shoots the web at Vulture's leg and pulls. Vulture hides behind his large metal wings that protects him from the gunfire, then shoots at the agents. One blast hits an indoor seating area. Spiderman weighs Vulture with a car attached to his web. Dodging a blast, he leaps to the upper deck and shoots some more web. Hanging from Vulture's suit, Spiderman swings over the water. The flying man fires at him. He swings back onto the deck. Vulture cuts the strands of web with the blades of his wings. Spiderman shoots web at the barrel of Vulture's high tech weapon.

Gwen doesn't put her camera down one second. Electricity travels up the strand of web and the weapon is yanked away from Vulture. On the deck, it bounces around wildly. Spiderman traps the weapon using lots of spiderweb. She hears the Vulture yell something but is too excited to care.

The weapon's laser beam breaks up into multiple rays. The energy blast cuts through the upper seating area, narrowly missing frightened passengers. In the air, Vulture dodges the blasts as they shoot into the sky. The arm gun guy sprints toward an upper deck, leaps into the air, and lands on Vulture's back. The rays slice through the length of the ferry, then vanish. In the seating area, passengers move cautiously. In the cargo bay, jets of water start to split up the ferry.

Gwen looks around and then reality hits. The ferry is split up and going to sink. She runs up towards the passengers but the ferry is already falling apart. "Spiderman!" She yells and sees him webbing the core points. He looks at her and stumbles a little. As if he was surprised to see her. Gwen noticed him forgetting one point. She wants to warn him but the passengers start cheering loudly as Spiderman is finished.

The webs begin to snap. People cling to posts as the stream rushes past them. On the upper level, passengers slide down the floor of the leaning ferry. The gap widens as the web strands continue to snap. Spiderman leaps into the air. He grabs a thread and shoots another. Arms outstretched, he hangs between the two sides, trying to hold them together. Then, the two sides start moving towards each other.

Hovering outside, he holds up one half of the boat. Drones arrive and attach themselves to the other half. Thrusters propel the two halves of the ferry forward and join them together. Gwen looks with an open mouth as she clicks her camera at one of the Iron Man drones. She runs outside as the real Iron Man flies away.

"I cannot believe you!" George yells as he and Gwen come home. "You could've died! Again!" He starts throwing his hands in the air. "I'm sorry" Gwen looks down. "I don't think you are" George starts laughing out of tiredness. "If you thought Spiderman was going to an awake volcano tomorrow, you would follow him still" He sighs.

"I just want to know who he is!" Gwen yells at her dad, trying to justify her actions. "Why are you so obsessed, Gwen?!" George starts yelling back. "Why is he so important!" He asks her. "Because...!" Gwen couldn't find a reason. "He just is!"

"You're grounded" George calmed down. "You can't do that?" Gwen walked in front of her dad. "Yes I can, and I will" George said threathening. "2 weeks" He told her. "What about prom?" Gwen looked at her dad and he sighed. "We'll see then, for now, no prom" George said and Gwen couldn't believe it. "You are so unfair!" She yelled. "If mom was here she would side with me!" Gwen said. "Well she's not here is she?!" George yelled back and regretted it the moment he said it.

Gwen ran to her room and slammed her door closed.
