When Love Lasts

Chapter 6 - we meet again

"oh no" I muttered to myself. I'm so clumsy, my phone fell down. I quickly bent down to pick it up then looked at the person in front of me.

"oh my gosh, Vivien, is that really you? "I said looking at an old classmate of mine.

A huge smile spread across her face " oh my god Noor it's been forever " .i gave her a quick hug. "I wish I could stay but I really have to be somewhere right now " she actually looked like she was in a hurry. I smiled and bid her farewell and went to go meet Jadwa and Iman.

They were trying to beat the claw machine.

After what seemed like forever, Iman finally got a small, cute ,sky blue teddy bear and rubbed it all in our faces. I remembered Vivien and told them about the short encounter. For a while we just kept on talking, walking around, eating junk, winning prizes and basically having fun till around 7pm when we had to leave.

We decided to go to Jabi lake mall to watch a movie called "Thor; love and war" . It had been all over so I couldn't wait to watch it.

We arrived earlier than the time the movie was supposed to start, so we decided to while away time by shopping and strolling around the mall.

Seven minutes to the start of the movie we went to buy tickets. The girls went to buy the tickets and afterwards I went to go get us popcorn and drinks.

I handed them everything and went to go get water for myself. My throat was dry.

I was walking back with the water and opened to drink it when I bumped into someone or rather the person bumped into me and the water spilt on the person.

Oh god I'm so clumsy. I bent down to pick the bottle up so not everything would go to waste. As soon as I rose up u was looking at the last person I ever thought I'd see again.

Farhan

Due to our close proximity I could smell his cologne that engulfed us, like oud and spices. It smelt heavenly.
As soon as I looked into those obsidian black orbs my heart stopped beating for a second there, my palms became sweaty and my breathing suddenly became heavy. I couldn't move. I just wanted the ground to swallow me at that moment.

Through all that I couldn't help but notice how much he had changed. He's grown so much, he's become really muscular, his skin a bit tanned and you can clearly see the transition between when he was a teenager and now.

From his beautiful eyes to his cherry pink lips, a small but structured nose, full eyebrows, a well shaped and defined jawline. He looked undescribably hot.

"uh, ma'am are you okay! " he asked. That brought me back to my senses.

I didn't know what to do so I quickly walked away.
I reached were they were and I had a deep frown etched on my face.

"Noor are you okay "
"what's wrong "
I told them it was nothing, not to worry. They were of course a bit skeptical about it but they let it go with a look of worry in their eyes.

We went into the hall and took our seats, then the movie began. The water Long forgotten.

Through out the movie I couldn't concentrate on anything else but my thoughts which surrounded around Farhan. Why!

I just realized how much it's fool I must have looked like. I just took off for no apparent reason.

After the movie ended we took Iman home, she gave me the cute teddy bear she won and made me promise to tell her what was wrong when I'm alright.

After everything Jadwa and I went to my room to get some sleep.

After a while of tossing and turning on the bed, Jadwa sat up and switched on the lights.

"Noor tell me what's wrong "I looked at her and with a heavy sigh I told her everything.

"Don't worry, I promise I'll find out what's going on, alright "

"Good night " I answered her and went to sleep.

With one thing on my mind which was why Farhan addressed me as ma'am I went to a dreamless sleep.
