Liz took Theodore's fingerprints and ran them into the system, but nothing came up. So he's not a criminal. Then she looked up his name, trying to see if there were any missing person reports in the area. Then she looked in neighboring towns, but nothing was found. So coming here was a total waste of time, just like bringing him to the hospital.
He has no medical records. No criminal record. Not in the system. No missing person reports Nothing. This guy doesn't exist. We can't find anything. I don't understand it. How is there nothing on this guy?
Now he's sitting inside my car with his eyes closed. He looks like he's sleeping, but I can hear his heartbeat racing. He's scared. Fucking Damon scared him. He wasn't like that until he talked to him. I turned to look at Damon, who was leaning against my car.
"So what are we going to do?" He asked.
"I don't know Damon," I said.
"He's not staying at the house," he stated.
"Then we'll find someone else to take him," I said.
"And who's going to do that?" He asked.
"I don't know Damon! I've never had to do this before," I snapped.
"Elena has spare a room," he said with a smile.
"No, absolutely not. I'm not letting him stay with her. We know nothing about him, he could be dangerous."
"Yeah, because he looks so dangerous," he said, pointing at him as he peacefully slept.
"He's a mysterious man with no history whatsoever who I found in the woods covered in blood," I said.
"So who else is there who's not going to question a random man staying in their house?" He asked.
"We could ask Alaric," I suggested.
"Yeah, I bet he would love to help us," he said, crossing his arms.
"He wouldn't be helping us; he'd be helping him," I said.
"Call him and hurry up. I'm starting to get hungry," he said with a smile.
I sighed and turned around. I took my phone out of my pocket and scrolled for Alaric's number. Once I found it, I clicked it and called him. It rang a few times before he answered.
"What do you want?" He asked.
"I need your help," I said.
"Why would I help you?" He asked.
"Just shut up and come to the police station," I answered.
"What did you do?" He asked again.
"Nothing," I said.
"Did Damon do something?" He asked.
"Oh my god, Alaric I'll explain when you get your ass over here," I snapped.
"Okay, fine, I'll be there in like 20 minutes," he stated.
"Bye," I said, and I hung up.
"Had to make it ominous, huh?" Damon asked as he smiled.
"Shut up!" I snapped.

After about 25 minutes, Alaric's car pulled into the parking lot. He parked next to my car, turned it off, and got out. He looked like shit. He probably just got up. He was wearing a tan jacket with a black shirt and blue jeans. He also looks pissed.
"This better be worth it," Alaric grumbled.
"Hello to you too," Damon smiled.
"It is worth it," I said.
"So what is so important that you couldn't just tell me over the phone," Alaric asked as he crossed his arms.
"That's the thing," I said, pointing at a sleeping Theo in the car.
"Who is that?" He asked.
"That's a great question; let us know when you figure it out," Damon stated.
"We think his name is Theodore. I found him in the woods, covered in blood. He has no memories, and there is nothing physically wrong with him. He has no history that we can find." I explained.
"What the fuck?" Alaric asked.
"Exactly," Damon said.
"So what the fuck do you want me to do?" Alaric asked.
"We need you to let him live in your apartment," I answered.
"My apartment? Are you fucking crazy?" He asked.
"Yeah, we are." Damon smiled.
"We have nowhere else for him to stay," I added.
"Your house is huge," Alaric stated.
"He's not staying at my house," Damon said.
"For his safety, he can't stay there," I said, glaring at Damon.
"Why can't he just stay somewhere else?" Alaric asked.
"Because we don't want him running around Mystic Falls. There's something wrong with him, and I can't figure it out," I stated.
"All you have to do is babysit Alaric." Damon smiled.
"Just take him in until we can figure out what to do," I said.
"Fine, but you both owe me." Alaric sighed and ran a hand through his hair.
"Whatever, Stefan, go wake him up," Damon said, gesturing to the car.
I sighed and walked over to the car. I knocked on the window, causing Theodore to jump. He looked around, confused, and smiled when he saw me. I pointed at the ground, telling him to roll down the window, but he just looked confused. Oh yeah, he doesn't know what a car is. I opened the door and leaned against it.
"What's up?" He asked as he rubbed his eyes.
"Grab your stuff and get out," I told him.
"Where are we going?" He asked as he grabbed his bag and stepped out of the car.
"We aren't going anywhere. You are going to live with a friend until we find out what to do with you," I explained, closing the car door.
"A friend?" He asked as he hugged the bag to his chest.
"Yeah," I said.
I watched him look around, confused, until his eyes landed on Alaric. His heart raced again as his grip tightened on the bag.
"This is Alaric. You're going to stay with him for a bit while we figure out who you are,"
"Hi," Theodore waved, and Alaric smiled.
"Hi, kid,"
"Well, he's not my problem, so I'm going to leave," Damon said, turning around. Then he started walking away.
"I'll be in touch, okay?" I said, and Theodore nodded. I turned and got into my car, starting it.
"Come on, Theo, let's go," Alaric said as he got into his car.
"Okay," Theo mumbled, and he got into the passenger's seat.
