I was exhausted. Sleep was out of the question, knowing I had to work with now two quirks and an upcoming war. But when going out into the main area, it seemed they hadn't gotten better sleep having tried avoid Shigaraki at all costs. What a childish temper.

All of us certainly exhausted, but not voicing anything about it. I made my way closer to Bakugo, who seemed to have growing darker shades underneath his eyes, it almost ruined his attractive nature. With a soft tone I whispered to him, "after training you wanna get outta here for a bit?" His eyes flickered towards me, then back to his coffee, which his silence I took as a yes. This was getting to him, I know. But it's not like I could throw away my perfect plan right now, I need him.

Right now my focus was to destroy the absolute shit pile of a society we have. It only benefit those at the top. Leaving the rest of us to scavenge for scraps or die. The top, having gotten away with anything and everything.

With that, I continued my day, sending others off for jobs and trying to master this ability along with whatever passed along the way. But throughout the day it seemed like I understood the grasp of what he had handed down. From what I could tell it was some sort of self regeneration and a quirk enhancer. Truly gotta give Dabi and Toga the credit for letting me test those. Though without the quirks, that would've hurt like hell.

But as soon as I knew it, Bakugo had walked through the doors of the training room I was in. He stood against the wall waiting for me to finish. And even though physically my body was fighting Toga and Dabi, my brain was focused on how to close the gap to use his trust in the plan. Granted he already held trust for me, but I could feel the waverance that came with it.

The next thing I know, Toga tapped out, leaving to go hang out with Twice. Leaving me to fight Dabi, which hadn't lasted long since he hit his physical limits, feel bad for him since his body wasn't able to adjust to the heat his flames bring. But whatever, I had to initiate my plan. I skipped over like I hadn't just been training for a how many ever hours. "Kacchan~" flashing a big smile, I took his hand to trail him to my room. Honestly I dont think I've had people in here for some time.

"Why'd you wanna hang out nerd?" He sat in the chair I had in the corner, and eyed me the entire time. Which felt awkward, but completely understandable. But I couldn't afford to feel awkward, just had spent a few of the days letting him warm up to this place. It was now or never.

Taking off my shirt to put a sweater on, I turned around already having noticed his slight blush. "I just wanted to hang out, been way too boring and quiet around here." Giggling, I made my way over, gathering my courage. It was only for the time being, it won't be hard. With this chant repeating through my head, I sat on his side, not leaving any room. I felt him tensing, especially as my head lowered down on his shoulder. "We haven't sat like this for awhile, remember Kacchan?" My eyes toured up in a soft gaze, examining the growing blush and rushing thoughts that seemed to write themselves into his expression.

But his tension and expression soon came to a halt, leaving on the blush and default face of the blond. "We certainly haven't, have we?" His hand toured up to play with the green locks that sat on top of my head.

And through that time, it just traveled with either comfortable silence or old memories. That was until we got to a stand still conversation, I knew it was coming but I didn't like it one bit.

"You know, after you left, it hadn't felt the same. Even when Aunty came over." That alone made me feel some guilt, but I knew what I was getting myself into.

Instead of giving an answer, a hum made its way as compensation. But I felt him, it hadn't satisfied him. He needed words. "Well, just comes with the title I guess. Doesn't necessarily feel right to be the villain everyone knows but go back to people as if nothing happened." I muttered, now frowning. I grasped his hands to intertwine our fingers, with my other hand fidgeting his bracelet we forced him to wear in case of emergency.

"You should've. We would have understood."

"Kacchan. No one. And absolutely no one, understands a killer. Someone who detests heroes after trying to become a hero."

"You don't know th-"

"I do know that though. Believe me. Only reason I have blood on my hands as is." With this he silenced, I knew he didn't like this conversation either. But it had to be done.

What confused me was when he untangled our fingers, grabbing both of my hands. "Weird." As if he were crazy, I looked to him in question. And only got a chuckle in response, "I don't see any blood. Only the warm skin of a certain nerd I know."

My jaw dropped, this is a side of Kacchan I've never seen. And honestly it felt nice, like some sort of sense back home. I felt tears pricking, in the first time in years, the blood wasn't noticeable feature on everyone's view of me.

Quickly wiping away at the tears that could've trailed down if I hadn't, I was speechless. Though he broke the silence for me, "Crusty is looking for you apparently." A laugh escaped, the nicknames he's been inventing for everyone lately have been comedy to me.

"Tell Shinsou I'll be there in a moment, just gotta change." I got up and walked over to the little dresser I had. I didn't feel like getting into anything too complex or dressy, settling with the same dark red sweater and black jeans.

And when we both complete our tasks, he beat me to the door. We were heading separate directions but I could tell he was sort of disappointed that we couldn't do much hanging longer. But I also had to stick to my plan, which I turned and stopped, talking out a bit. "Kacchan."

He turned, with a curious but exhausted look. "Let's do this again tomorrow, okay?" With that he gave a half smile, and walked away. He didn't need words for me to understand that it was him agreeing.

Though when I got to Shigaraki, my grin faded. I hated having to deal with him now. "Master wants you." I rolled my eyes as he ended his words with venom laced into each bit.

"Kurogiri, transport me please." I was too exhausted for this, but alas it had to be done.
