"THE MORE I HEAR, THE MORE DEPRESSING IT GETS." ARISU ANNOUNCED, HIM AND USAGI WALKING AROUND THE BACK OF THE BUILDING. "I haven't gotten to Katsuo yet." Usagi hummed, observing the outside area. "He's taken a liking to me, as you said, so he'll be easy to ask." Arisu spoke, Usagi turning to him. "I'm going to the annex basement." She informed, Arisu facing her. "Don't overdo it." He reminded, the woman humming. "I'll go get food supplies and any weapons that we can use." Usagi informed, nodding. "I'll also gather some information in case we need it." She walked away with that, Arisu scoffing lightly. "'In case we need it?' What does she mean?" He asked himself, walking away. He stopped himself, looking to his left to see two women talking quietly. "Hey, can I ask you both something?" He interrupted, the girls jolting before looking to him. Glancing to one another, the two jogged away, seemingly scared. "Wait, I'm not trying to hit on you!" Arisu quickly defended himself, flinching himself at the sound of gunshots.

Looking behind him, he quietly jogged and peeked around a corner, seeing three men with guns walk away from a covered bin. Waiting until they were far enough away, Arisu made his way over to the bin, squinting his eyes at the foul smell. Lifting up the tarp, the man immediately covered his mouth at the dead bodies. Multiple. Piled up into the bin. Coughing back puke, he covered it once more, shaking his hands. "That is the true nature of this utopia." Arisu watched Chishiya walk down the stairs, Kuina not far behind. "This is part of Beach's rule. 'Death to the traitors.'" He spoke, hands in his pockets.

"YOU AND USAGI SEEM TO HAVE COLLECTED A VAST AMOUNT OF INFORMATION. WHAT ARE YOU BOTH PLANNING?" CHISHIYA INQUIRED, THE THREE ATOP OF THE BUILDING. "Nothing much." He lied, Chishiya sighing. "I'll cut to the chase. How will you live in this world that's full of despair?" He asked, Arisu looking to him. "'How?'" He looked between Kuina and Chishiya, the two awaiting his answer. "I just want to know the answers to my questions. The ones behind this crazy game. And who killed Karube and Chota." He spoke, looking ahead as he dodged eye contact. "I thought I'd be able to survive and return to the original world with everyone. If that is not possible, I want Usagi to return, at the very least. This is the only reason why I'm still alive." Arisu announced confidently, Chishiya grinning lightly. "What a tearjerker." He met the confused eyes of Arisu, readjusting his footing. "Your dream... It's cool," He spoke, walking closer to the edge to overlook the place. "but it's not practical at all." He spoke, Kuina scoffing as she followed Chishiya's footsteps.

"You'll have to win all the games and become next to Number One. You won't get past Number Two. Even then, that's impossible." Kuina shrugged, Arisu looking between them both. "It has nothing to do with you guys." He shot back, Chishiya turning to them. "We think that you have potential." He announced, Arisu turning to him. "What?" The man inquired, Chishiya nodding to Kuina. "That's why we came here to meet you." He informed further, Arisu scoffing lightly. "What do you mean?" He watched Chishiya turn fully towards him. "What if I said there's a way to change the status quo all at once?" He suggested, Arisu turning to him. "Hatter is trying to keep the militants in check, but it's only a matter of time before they retaliate. Katsuo cannot stop that." Chishiya begun, putting his hands in his pockets. "If that happens, this place will be controlled by the militants who don't know how to use their brains. There'd be no point in staying here." He shrugged, Arisu intrigued. "What are you planning?" He asked, him and Kuina watched Chishiya's smile grow.
