Chapter 18: Friends With Benefits?

Narrator (POV)

"Uh Princeton, hey" mumbled Ali

Princeton looked at Ali in confusion.

"Why are you up here all alone Ali?" questioned Prince.

"I don't know, the party is tiring," said Ali softly trying to control to her stuttering words. All Ali could think about was Roc. She was going crazy.

"Well I came back." said Princeton. "I thought about what you were telling me earlier." smiled Prince.

"Yeah you did, huh?" said Ali quietly.

"Yeah, it was wrong for making out with Star here, you know since its Roc birthday party and these last couple of months we have already been through too much. Hopefully one day he will accept Star and I's relationship." smiled Princeton. "She means the world to me."

Ali wanted to snap at Princeton. He sounded ridiculous. Star is only playing Princeton and he is falling for it.

"Ali why are you being so quiet?" asked Prince sitting down on the bed next to her. "SMILE!"

"Sorry Prince," said Ali. "I'm just tired, is the party over yet?" she asked getting up and walking towards the bedroom door.

"Yeah in like 30 minutes or so, why?" Princeton asked.

"I don't know, I just want to go home. I'm tired." Ali sighed.

"Alright well c'mon. Lets go downstairs."said Princeton following behind Ali.

Ali felt a little self-concious walking down the stairs with Princeton. She didn't want anyone to think they were doing anything. Since Roc and her were the ones who did. Especially since Rocs sister Keke was here. Oh shit. Keke, Ali thought. Keke is super close to Justin. She would tell him if she found out about Roc and her. Ali walked downstairs to see everyone still partying and the music still going. Rocs family and friends were talking and having fun, and Ali spotted Roc in the backyard playing with his young brother Trevor. Roc looked over at her smiled. Ali had a worried look on her face and to no surprise it concerned Roc.

Roc forgot about Ali and Justin and their relationship. Roc walked over to Ali.

"Hey babe," he said softly.

"Hey," smiled Ali.

"The partys gonna be over in a few minutes, you wanna hang out?" winked Roc.

Ali didn't wanna talk about this here. Not at his party. Roc was having too much fun and she cared too much about him, just to bring up her and Justin. But she knew that Keke would suspect something if she saw Roc and I together. Ali agreed.

She figured hanging out with Roc would leave them alone and she could figure this whole thing out. But another part of Ali wondered if Roc was just playing her. He has been lonely lately and she wonders if he still misses Star, and what if seeing Star and Prince together lowkey got to Roc and...

"Yeah sue Roc," she smiled. "Where?" asked Ali

Roc smirked, "Your house."

"Wait what if my Dad is there?" I asked.

"Who cares?, Ali after this I'll be on tour for three months, almost the whole summer, and I won't be able to see you again until the beginning of August!" said Roc

Ali smiled. Roc was right. What Ali forgot about was the fact she was still with Justin and she was messing around with Roc, meaning she was cheating with Justin.
