—————————— chapter three, flashbacks and debutante invites! " SORRY, GOTTA STEAL THE WIFEY FOR A LITTLE BIT, I'M TAKING HER TO THE BEACH" ( season one, episode one, summer house ) [ part two, tw ] ——————————
JULIET ALWAYS LOVED THE COLOR PINK, she used to claim that is was the color of happiness and that the world could never have enough of it. Perhaps that's why when Susanna and Belly took her shopping this morning, almost everything she picked out was pink in one way or another.
As she now stood alone in her and Belly's shared guest room putting away her new clothes, she couldn't help but glance in the mirror every so often. She now wore her very own clothes, a pink crop top that actually fit her, a short white plated shirt, and pink high top converse. She got the haircut that she so desperately needed, and now her curly blonde hair reached about the middle of her chest and looked how it was meant to.
As she folding another shirt, a small knock on her already open door pulled her from her thoughts, Jeremiah stood leaning on the door frame, "Hey, can I come in?" He asked, receiving a nod in response as he smiled and practically bounced over to her. He took in the outfit she was wearing, noting how she still stuck to a strictly pink wardrobe, "You look great, Jules." He grinned, taking a few pieces of her soft hair between his fingers, "You got a haircut too, very fancy."
"Thanks," She turned around and faced him, smiling softly, she was now a girl of few words, but he always seemed to know exactly what she was thinking. While everyone else seemed to sort of tiptoe around her and give her pity, Jeremiah went ahead and picked up right where they left off, treating her as if she was never gone.
He sat down on her bed as she turned back to putting the clothes away, "So, Jules, I was thinking," He spoke again, drawing her attention as she turned around and leaned against the dresser.
"That's never good," She remarked, a small smile playing at her lips, which in turn lifted his mood.
He was glad that she was still a little bit the same, shaking his head he laughed, "Well, there's this start of summer bonfire tonight on the beach, I'm thinking me plus you at the party equals plenty of fun, so what do you say?"
She pursed her lips as she thought about it, "Fine." She decided.
He stood up, his mouth gaped open, "Oh, come on, Jules," He couldn't seem to say her name enough times, he had to make up for the five years that her name wasn't in his mouth, "You can't say no, we need this, trust me— wait you said yes?"
She nodded with a small laugh, he loved her laugh, "I guess it could be nice," She lied, "And I know that you wont stop bugging me until I agree, anyway."
