Larissa's Pov

"Where are we going?"

"I said the store."

"Oh yeah. Can we take a detour?"

"And go where?"

"I want to get a smoothie.."

"So..go get a smoothie." She put a hand on her hip.

"You're not coming?"

"You're sooo clingy." She slurred out her words in a deeper voice.

"You don't have to if you don't want to, I'm just saying that it's a dangerous town for outcasts."

"Oh, I see. You want to protect me?" She smirked and raised an eyebrow.

"Something like that and also I don't want you getting lost."

"Fine, I'll come with you., she turned to her friends, "You guys can meet us at the shops if you want. I have a feeling this is gonna take a while."

"Yeah we'll meet you there, be quick though. The 50% off sale at Hot Threads ends in like 40 minutes, and we need to be back at school within 90 minutes. Got it?"

"We got it, we'll see you in 20."

I turned around and began walking down the street, left hand in my pocket.

"Don't wait up." Bianca grabbed my right hand and started to walk a little slower.

The entire walk there was quiet, almost awkward considering after months of fighting Morticia comes along and Bianca just forgives me. A win is a win though. We walked into 'The Rapid Cup', known for their speedy service. I immediately ordered a Honey-Lime Fruit Salad Smoothie which includes a sliced ripe banana, a cup of sliced strawberries that are chilled, 1 cup of cubed pineapple that are also chilled, 1 cup of orange juice, juice from 1/2 a lime, and 1 tablespoon of honey. Bianca watched with interest as the man behind the counter made my drink within 2 minutes. I paid him the 2 dollars and was about to walk out but he said something that stopped us.

"That's your girlfriend? I knew outcasts were weird but you stooped super low."

I did a 180, a surprised look on my face.

"Who the hell are you talking to Steve?"

"Uh..the only fruit cakes in here."

"I should knock you out of that apron but luckily for you I only have one strike left. SO, I advice you to apologize to my girl expeditiously."

"Why would I apologize to it?"

"Unluckily for you, I have all three strikes left." I stormed up to him and immediately punched him in the jaw.

"Now let's go, babe." I walked out of the store and turned the corner, Bianca grabbed my hand again and stopped me.

"What? You can't tell me that was too harsh."

"It's not that. That was just super, extremely hot."

"Oh, you like it when I get mad?" I took a sip of my drink.

"I like when you take charge of something." She brought me down to her height by my shoulders and gave me a small kiss.

"I can name a lot more things I'll take charge of."

"Is one of them me?"

"It could be." She blushed gently, it was almost unnoticeable.

"Now, don't you want to go to your little sale? We're wasting lots of time."

"Oh yeah!" She speed-walked down a couple of the streets before seeing her group of friends.

"We're back."

"Look what I found to go under my jacket!" She held up a navy colored silk stretch notch collar shirt.

"Good pick, it would look good on you."

"Aw, thanks." She went back to looking at more blue shirts that would match her uniform.

I took another long sip of my smoothie as Morticia and Gomez walked in through the double doors.

"Oh hey guys, what're you doing here?"

"Well, after my quad and the bookstore we decided to find you guys and call it in. Jericho isn't actually as interesting as I thought it would be."

"Not if you're looking alone."

"So you're saying I need a partner to uncover the mystery's of Jericho?"

"Precisely."

"Are you available?"

"I could find some time in my busy, busy schedule to help a friend in need."

"Oh please." Bianca rolled her eyes.

"How nice of you. I thought you guys would've been finished."

"We took a few minutes to get a smoothie and then this rude guy who made it called us out for dating."

"Do you need anything? I have friends around, if you know what I mean."

"No, I punched him. I should've made him apologize but I didn't get the chance."

"We'll just sit down and wait for you to finish up. I have a feeling this may take a while." Morticia and Gomez walked over to one of the black skull chairs and took a seat next to each other.

Gomez is such a simp, he can't even look at her without blushing.

"Larissa."

"Yes? Oh my God."

"You like it?" She ran her hands down the black laced bodice.

"I love it but when would you wear that?? Your 16 and your parents are extreme control freaks, no offense."

"When I'm alone with you of course."

"If you like it, buy it. I think it looks amazing on you Bianca."

"I guess I just have spectacular taste." She draped the garment over her arm.

"When do you think you'll be done?"

"Give me 6 minutes I still need to find glasses and a pair of shoes." She walked off into a separate part of the store with two of her friends.

I find it weird how we never introduced before, they follow her everywhere. Especially when I'm around her so that's kinda strange that we haven't talked to each other. I couldn't care less though, I have my fair share of friends, 3. I sat next to Morticia, one leg crossed over the other.

"You find this enjoyable?"

"The trying on part? Yes. The hours? No. How was your quad?"

"Fine, nothing special. Oh and would you please let me know when you're having company over."

"Company?" I gave her a confused look, nobody was supposed to be in our room except for Morticia, Bianca, the dorm mom and the principal.

"What are you talking about company?"
