Central Perk, New York, december 29th 1994

As Jessica, Chandler and Joey walked into the coffeeshop they looked for their friends who just might be there, at least they hoped so.

The trio looked around for the rest of their group just to have no luck. No one was there. Only the three of them.

Jessica: "Where is everyone? Shouldn't they be here now?"

She tried to look for at least one female of the group, no luck, only her and the boys. Well two of them.

Chandler: "Maybe they have hangovers from yesterday, they didn't make it out alive."

The last part was so sarcastic, so when Jessica laughed she snorted. Immediately as she had done so her hand flew up to cover her mouth from letting out more snorts in her laughing fit.

Chandler looked amused at the female next to him, she snorted at his sarcastic comment. That was cute, adorable and maybe just a teeny tiny bit funny. He couldn't hold himself from laughing a little. As fast as the laughter came his hand got up to quiet his laughter to not embarrass her more.

Joey who was completely oblivious to the scene performing before him yawned and asked the pair in front of him a question that made Chandler and Jessica wonder if he ever listened to anything.

Joey: "You guys want the usual? I'll get it for you, and a lot of fucking water."

Jessica was almost relieved at her friend being as oblivious as he was. How embarrassing would it be to have both the men in her company to have notice the accidental snort. Its better to have one of them hear it because out of experience at least Joey would be laughing about it and make fun of it. Hopefully Chandler was not that way.

Jessica: "You okay buddy, did you really drink that much?"

Joey: "Jessie, Jessie, Jessie, I was so drunk I can't even remember if the chick I banged last night was hot or not. I'm simply guessing she was hot because otherwise I don't know what to do."

Jessica felt a blush creep on her cheeks, she managed to not make it as noticeable. Hot, was she really that hot? She might be, but no one had ever said something like that about her before. Not that Joey knew that it was her, but still.

Chandler: "Jess, you gonna find a job here? I never asked you what you do for a living."

Jessica looked at the man who questioned her, not knowing what to answer, but hey, she had already let him in a little on her really, really personal life. He can know.

Jessica: "Oh, yeah uhh I have applied to a job here in the city, I haven't heard from them yet though... but earlier I worked as a music-teacher. I asked a school if they needed a music-teacher or a volunteer for the drama club or possibly a drama-teacher. You never know what you'll get you know."

Chandler looked at her. Not expecting that as an answer. But as he started to really understand her answer, he realized he had even more questions. Like what did she major in? Was she really musical? Not like Phoebe musical but you know, being able to play more than one instrument.

Chandler: "Okay, I think they'll hire you when the new year begins."

Just as the pair seemed to have finished their conversation their friend came back with their drinks.

Joey: "Okay so here is a macchiato for Jessie, a black coffee for Chandler and of course a latte to me."

Enjoying their coffee they were interrupted by the platinum blond man behind the counter, the man Jessica had learned to know as Gunther.
