IRL

( y/ n ) was updated every step of the process they went through with making the demo for her.   she wrote down everything, deciding to sort through what was helpful or not later.

she agreed to call them over instagram, hearing their thought processes as they produced their own versions of the song. the trio bickered a lot as they recorded on their phones, often claiming the other was copying them. was getting a credit really that important to them?

( y/n ) found it funny; three men arguing over who would get a credit on a song for her album. she supposed that they were big fans and at that look, she guessed it was something to be excited for. if she had an opportunity to work with her favorite artist, she would be bursting at the seams.

she couldn't explain why she chose to give them the instrumental and lyrics so quickly — youngsoo's 'fuck it we ball' attitude was definitely rubbing off on her. it wasn't like she couldn't create a new instrumental and use some scrap lyrics from her older songs to compose a new one, she was just desperate to check off her album to-do list.

"is it done?"  ( y/n ) asked, hearing nothing from the other end of the voice chat.  had they successfully killed each other?  it sounded like there were multiple attempts before.

"we're waiting on one more to load."

"you guys like each other again?"

"haha," one of them faked their laughter, a few more clicks heard before her laptop showed a new email.

"i'll listen," she muttered into the mic, placing her headphones over her ears.  one by one, she listened to the demos, knowing it would be hard to choose as they all fit into what she imagined.  ( y/n ) hummed, scrolling through and deciding on a final answer.  "the second one."

"the second?  oh that's me."  one cheered, quickly silenced by the other members.

"what was wrong with mine?"

"why jisung?  mine was better."

jisung.  she finally had one name out of three, yet she didnt she bother to ask them the rest. this was a one time deal, but she would definitely keep up with their songs as they were all too talented for her to not follow them in the industry.

the boys continued to bicker before she followed 3racha back on instagram, silence following before hushed whispers filled the call. "is it okay if i use all of them?"

"yes," the trio said unison, still reveling in the follow.

"okay thanks." ( y/ n ) ended the call, smiling as the realization set; she was truly loved by her fans. every now and then she would doubt herself, but when she had interactions like these, her self confidence was regained.

she messaged youngsoo that she figured out how she would do the rap song and asked 3racha how she should credit them.  spending any more time on call with them would've bursted her ears.  they replied with '3racha' since she was using all of their demos and she wrote it down with the title.
