Chapter I: The Sorcerer

*Brice POV*

I had done it. Applied to a sorcerer and got in. All my life I had wanted to learn the ways of a magic bearer. I learnt everything that I thought I needed to know about magic. But there was one thing I didn't know; my magical element. The only way that one could learn their magical element is by practising magic. Magic that I didn't know how to do.

That was why I had applied to this, SetoSorcerer. To find out what my calling was and whether I had magic abilities in me. See if magic runs in my blood. I had packed my bags a day earlier to be ready for him when he came to pick me up.

The only problem was why I was accepted. A Great War was going on and sorcerers were in dire need. People were dying left right and centre.

Lounging around on my bed I was waiting for him to come. Suddenly, there was a loud whoosh outside my window. Startled, I looked out to find SetoSorcerer on a cloud, waiting for me.

"Are you coming or what?"
"Y-yeah of course! I-I just wasn't expecting you so early,"

*SetoSorcerer POV*

"Y-yeah of course! I-I just wasn't expecting you so early,"

A small blush came to the young mans face. He grabbed his bags and came back towards the window. I stuck my hand out to him and he grasped it firmly, pulling on it to get on. The ride only took a small while, yet I could feel it taking a toll on my body.

When we were outside the fortress, I put a hand up to tell him to stop. He looked at me funny, wondering why we needed to stop. It soon became obvious though as my ragged breaths echoed through out the valley. No longer breathless, I stood up properly. Brandishing my hands over the door knob, I used a powerful unlocking charm to, well, unlock the door.

We stepped inside and the blond haired boy gasped as he saw the towering pillars leading to a throne. He stood in the middle and turned around slowly, as to take every sight in with him.

"It has always been my dream to learn sorcery," He breathed at me.
"Well, that's good that you're here then, because that's what you're gonna learn. Shall we get started?"
