*Time skip*

A week later when all the chaos started to calm down, I started to feel more relaxed. The weird thing was that I haven't seen Aries, or any demonic creatures since that night.

A weird feeling started to grow in me. A feeling of worry. I haven't seen Aries in a long time and I thought we had even connected. Even a little bit. After he came over to my house. I texted Aries here and there. But he never responded. To any of my messages.

It was almost morning whenever I was supposed to be sleeping. But I was staying up late and staring at my ceiling. My mind racing. I looked over at my clock and it was almost time to get up. It was the last day until spring break. I let put a sigh and started to get up.

                                ~

When I got to school, 20 minutes before school actually started, I start walking to my class. Bree had taken the bus to school, cause she didn't want to be a burden driving all they way to her house. She texted me telling me to hurry up. Brian was trying to hit on her while Ryan was giving death stares at him.

I tried to walk fast to my class, when I turned the corner and bumped into a tall guys back. I looked up and realized it was Joseph Moon. Me and Joseph didn't talk at all to each other.

He had a tall build to him. He had Jet black hair that was surprisingly his natural hair colour. His height looked to be 6'2. He is 18, but looked as if he was 22.

I stepped back as he turned around and looked down at me. He was looking at his phone.

"Oh uh, hi Joseph. I, uh, didn't see you there," I tried to avoid eye contact. He was way to handsome for his own kind.

Until I remembered that Aries and him always hang out together. I could maybe get information from him. Maybe he could tell me where Aries is. Or lived. Or if he was even alive.

"Oh, no worries, love," He said putting his phone on his back pocket.

"Aren't you Alexa? The girl that sits by my bro? In Bio?" He asked folding his arms. I finally had enough courage to look at him in the eyes. His eyes where the same colors as Aries. Black. It was like looking into the night sky and seeing a mass amount of stars.

"Alex," I corrected.

"Right, Alex. I got it" He said with a small smirk.

"And yeah, that's right. I do sit by him," I said. "Oh that reminds me," I hesitated.

Maybe I shouldn't ask him. And mind my own damn business. I thought to myself.

No! You wanted to ask him if Aries was alright. And where he was. Just ask him! I yelled at myself.

"Uhhh. . . Alex? You there? Earth to Alex," I snapped out of my thoughts just to see that Joseph was waving his left hand in my face. Bending over a little to get down to my height.

"Oh! Sorry I was thinking," I told him. I just felt embarrassed now. But I snapped out of it and forced myself to ask him.

He put his hand back down and stood back up. Looking really tall.

"So. . . I was going to ask was if you knew where Aries was?" I paused before starting up again.

"I mean he missed a lot of school and I haven't seen him anywhere," I paused again. Almost as if I was waiting for Joseph to say something. Anything to break the silence. But he didn't say anything. So I continued.

"I wanted to ask if he was even still alive," I joked. Even chuckled a little bit at my own joke. Even though it was no where near being actually funny. I started to feel more embarrassed.
