Once I was in the house I locked the door behind me and grabbed my fairly large umbrella from the closet.

It is somewhat of a weapon I guess.

"Damien!" I said walking around expecting to see him crawling around on the ceiling. "Damien!" I yelled again. Not even a sound of a pen dropping. Way too quiet. I stopped frozen. Where would I hide if I was a physcho vampire dude who preys on people like a stalker? I hope he heard that from where ever he was.

I then calmed down until I heard laughing.

A man's laugh that left a tingle down my back like a spark set aflame and a woman's laugh that sounded too real to actually belong to the person it sounded like.

Aunt Mercy?

I ran toward the source to almost pass out onto the hallway carpet.

There..in the living room...sat my Aunt Mercy and- I can't even comprehend- Damien! Of all people!

In like a- dream- there was Damien and Aunt Mercy sitting with each other sipping tea and laughing like they were old friends. "W-what the Hell!!!" I studdered

Aunt Mercy caught my frozen form from the corner of her eye and smiled before beckoning me over.

I followed her finger to sit directly next to Damien which in a blink of an eye ended up with me sitting on his lap and his lips caressing my neck.

I found it hard to focus at the moment.

"Enjoy the feeling" he whispered to me, I shook from head to toe. My body wouldn't even let me move.

"w-whats g-g-going o-on" I said whilist trying to pull Damien off of me.

"Have you ever wondered why I don't dislike you like I dislike your sister?" asked Aunt Mercy

Damien continued to kiss my neck making me pull him closer. I sighed before coming back to reality and pushing him away again. He snickered.

"Y-yes" I said feeling much like a doggy bag of pain medication for a addict.

"I'll take that doggy bag upstairs if you like" his voice hummed in my thoughts. "...No and No I do not think so!" I said back to him before hopping out of his lap. He sighed in defeat before pulling me back i squirmed but it was useless. So I just sighed and sat. The heat of his chest which was now with a shirt kept my mind a bit foggy but still able to focus. i stared directly at Aunt Mercy who was still smiling weirdly.

"Well sweetie, first of all I dont like your sister because she is a child born from an infidelity between your mother and one of her co-workers. During a time when my brother and your mother was fighting she had begun to go out with one of her co-workers. That blew up into her getting pregnant. She didn't mean for it to happen but it did." She still smiled tightly. I felt a stone drop into my stomach followed by a open flame.

She then continued "The reason why I like you is because I never had a daughter and you were the perfect candidate for me to mold into a well dressed and behavior wise doctor of the future."

I looked confusedly at her before rolling my eyes I pretty much knew this all along.

"when you were first introduced to us, I over heard your mother tell your sister that the family you were with actually-" she kept that weird smile even when she hesitated.

". . .what?" I asked

". . . they murdered the people who truly adopted you."

The room froze and I stiffened on damien's lap. They murdered the family who adopted me!? They ruined my life deeper than ever imagined!
