I wake up to a loud bang from downstairs. I rush out of bed and run downstairs. It turned out to be my drunk farther coming home at 3:00am in the morning. " Your a mess." I said. " Go back up stairs and mind your business, I'm grown." he replies. " You can help your self up stairs." I go back up stairs and go to bed. "Victoria, wake up you promised to take me to the park today." " Ok, Jax I'm up just give me 10mins." Jax is my 6 year old little brother. He is so cute, funny, and energetic. It hurts me to know that he has to see our dad drunk almost everyday. No 6 year should ever see that. He should be spending quality time with our dad. But alcohol is more important to our dad then us. My mom is someone that has helped me and my brother through this rough time. She's been our shoulder to cry on. My mom has tried to get my farther help but he has been rejecting it, but she won't give up on him. She has sent him to 4 rehab centers but hasn't been able to stay in one. He has gotten into psychical fights and has been caught drinking. They don't allow that at the centers so they kicked him out. He is losing every opportunity he gets. Just a selfish and non-caring man. I love my dad. I don't want anything bad happen to him. I know he is able to beat this addiction and make his life better.
