Catching Up With The Past

As the sun sets over Remnant, the team arrives in the village of Higanbana to rest for the night. They arrive at the village inn where Fang walks up to the innkeeper.

Fang: Excuse me, ma'am, my friends and I need some rooms for the night.

The innkeeper looks over to the group and smiles.

Innkeeper: Of course sir. The first two atop the stairs.

Fang: Alright, how much for one night?

Innkeeper: About fifty Lien will do.

Fang hands her the Liens for the rooms and the group head to their rooms. Bleu and Azure had their own room while Fang, Crimson, and Sky had the other. After Fang got his bed situated he headed for the door.

Crimson: Where are you going?

Fang: Gonna go get some supplies for the trip. You never know if Shion might have been the only village that was attacked.

Crimson: Alright then. Good night.

Fang: Good night.

Fang closes the door and goes over to Bleu and Azure's room and knocks on the door. The door opens to reveal Bleu as Azure was sitting on his bed.

Bleu: What's up?

Fang: I was gonna get some supplies to make sandwiches for the trip if any of you wanted to come.

Azure: I'll go with. If that's alright?

Bleu smiles at Azure and then nods at Fang.

Fang: Alright then, let's go bud.

Azure leaps off his bed as he follows Fang to the market where they buy bread and meats for sandwiches. They soon return to the inn and as they are both about to head upstairs...

Innkeeper: Excuse me, sir.

Fang looks at the innkeeper and sees that she was calling him.

Innkeeper: I need to speak with you.

Azure looks at Fang with worry.

Fang: How bout you take the supplies to Bleu and start making the sandwiches? I'll be up soon.

Azure: You sure?

Fang: I'll be fine. She probably wants to have a drink with me.

Fang does an awkward smile and Azure laughs before heading back to his room. Fang walks over to the innkeeper.

Fang: How can I help you?

Innkeeper: Actually that woman over there with the hood up, (points to a woman sitting at the corner booth wearing a dark cloak as she holds a drink in her hand) she wants to speak with you. She told me to keep it discreet.

Fang looked uneasy for a moment but just sighs and walks over to the woman.

Fang: What do you want?

Woman: Sit.

Fang: Look lady if your here to kill me, can you try to do it on the road so you don't-

Woman: Sit down, Fang.

Fang's eyes widen when he heard her say his name. How could she have known his name? He looked at her arms and saw that she had tanned skin and dark nail polish. Without further hesitation, Fang sat in the chair across from her. 

Woman: You didn't listen to me when I told you to leave Vale. You stayed and nearly got yourself killed.

Fang: Look lady, it's my job as a huntsman to fight the Grimm and protect the city folk.
