I'm sure alot of people say that superheroes aren't real and are just fiction. Honestly, I believed that too but ofcourse, the world continues to surprise us non-believers.
Ah right, before I explain, let me introduce myself. My name is Malcolm Jersak. I am 32 years old and I work as a full time cop and detective. I live in NYC but I'm originally from New Jersey. Now to explain my so called "situation". When I said "the world continues to surprise us non-believers" what I was talking about was that superheroes (that's not what I would call him but you can if you'd like) are real, well, A superhero. About 1 year ago everything was pretty normal, I was doing my job at the office, solving cases, organising files, the usual. When suddenly the tv starts blaring in the other room! I went to see why the volume was so high and I saw pretty much everyone looking at it. I looked up at the TV to see the Daily News showing a video of what appeared to be a human, flying with lighting coming out of his hands. well, he was actually using that lightning from his hands to make himself fly in the air.
As a normal human, I was shocked like the rest of them. The superhero on TV then came closer to the camera and said, "Fear not everyone! For crime will be no more since I am here! Call me Lightgeroid!" As far as I could hear, everyone outside was cheering for him whereas everyone in the office was looking at eachother worryingly (including myself) I mean, you couldn't expect us not to be, it was a random guy that shot lighting out of his hands. Like, would YOU really trust that?
But eventually most of the office began to trust him overtime and we learnt that his real name is "Sinsang Darhum" and he eventually said, in his words, that he was "joining forces with us" but honestly,
He was just using us to do all the work.
Now, since we've finished that little backstory, we can begin with the actual story of the present time.
Hello everyone! This is a new book in starting to write and I'm hoping it gets noticed by some publishers. It's unlikely but all I can do is hope :) I hope you enjoyed this first chapter!
