My father was, as far as I can remember, really great. I remember when I was in fifth grade he had a heart attack and went to the hospital, I had a trip at my school a week later. I thought he wouldn't make it even though He promised he would. As I walked down the hall to leave he ran right through The door making it just in time. This, I think was the happiest day of my fifth grade life because he was never able to come with me anywhere before.
About two years later the night before thanksgiving he left me... Forever. Lung cancer took him away from me, we would never go anywhere together again.
Everyday I remember how much pain he was in, I can barely even remember his face now except for that image I was left with... The pale white body of my deceased father. For some reason I can't help but want to blame my sister. She didn't let me see him the day before he passed away but, I understand she couldn't handle seeing him at that point...
It's been six months since he left us, my mother still grieves him, my sister locks her room and crys for hours sometimes, and my brother gets mad at everyone that brings him up. As for me, the tears don't come... Not even when I stood there at his death bed or when we cremated him.
I don't have anyone to turn to anymore... So every night I get away.
The peacefull bright green plains and clear bright blue sky of my world.
Every night I stay there lost in thought, I never wanted to leave but yet ever morning I am dragged out of my world and instead put into the horrid world of school.Yet the one night I got home and I went to my world everything changed. For the first time ever I left the safety of the green plains and wandered through the tall green forest. As walked through the forest the soft voices of the trees followed me helping me along. Suddenly the voices faded and fog filled the forest. Then a green glow came from in front of me. The glow stunned me making me fall to the ground.
"Take it..."
A deep voice called."What, who is this?!"
I shouted fearfully."Take it..."
Then the once green forest turned to red. Fire spread revealing what the forest truly was... A war zone.Blood covered the ground crystal bodies of armor where laied all over the ground. I turned back to the green light that flouted above my head. The soft voices turned to screams.
"Please make it stop!"
I yelled, this horrifying sight of death. I came here to get away from this... Why? Why does this happen to me?!"Take it..."
Looking deeply at the green glowing object I put out my hand and grabbed it closing my eyes.
Suddenly the screaming voices ended and the bright green glow of the objects faded.
Little did I know of the one that saved me, or that this was no regular dream...
