Reyoka Zogoyaki - The Optimistic Hero ( MHA Fanfic)

Chapter 6

With the "villain's" words in mind and a new motivation Reyoka set out to be the hero that the world deserves, not one of those posers or one of those overgrown children in Halloween costumes who were only in it for the money. No he wanted to be a hero to everyone, because the truth isn't just black and white, there's plenty in-between. The police station had proven that statement. But theres one problem the boy had to face before any hero work could be done. He was a homeless nine year old living in the streets in a cold, cruel, and unforgiving world ! How was he going to survive? Luckily or unluckily for him the Widow's training was for more than just fighting, it had taught him to survive any environment or situation including this one. So over the next half-year the young Zogoyaki boy would get food and water through any means possible, however he would never steal or commit any crime to survive. Some days he'd be given food and water by a kind or generous stranger. But on other days, which happened more often than the others, he would have to root through dumpsters and garbage cans to get his sustenance or just to live another day. This would change one day when a black haired girl, who looked to be about his age, sees him on the side of the street whenever most people would have ignored him. She walks up to him, taps him on the shoulder, and hands him a large sum of money. He's completely bewildered and says " Wha- What? Are you giving me this? Why? I-I can't take this!," She replies with "Please just take it! There's this orphanage run by a friend of my father, if you use this money you can get in. I know you'll have a better life there than were you are now.," Reyoka just stares at the girl looking between her eyes and the money in her hands. Hesitantly he takes the money and he breaks down, hugging the stranger as he began to cry, no one had shown him this much kindness since the man in the police station. "Thank you! Thank you so much! How can I ever repay you?," The girl pats his back as if she'd known him her whole life and says, "Your welcome! You don't need to pay me back just make sure you're taken care of and don't give up on that dream of yours.," Reyoka's eyes widened "How did you know about my dream?", He asked to which the girl responded with" Simple I heard you talking about it to yourself, sorry for eavesdropping." "Th- that's fine, but why are you helping me?" " I don't believe in wasting potential, it's as simple as that." Zogoyaki began to leave but then he thought of something,"Wait, before I go can I get your name?" "Oh it's Yaoyorozu, Momo Yaoyorozu. What's yours?" She wanted to know his name? " Uhh.. it's Reyoka Zogoyaki!" With that they parted ways possibly seeing each other again one day, but who knows.
