"Daddy!" I gasp as I look up at the big sign with 'Carnival' printed in big letters on it. "This is amazing! Thank you!"

I hear my dad chuckle and I hug his leg, "you're welcome, sweety," he answers with a happy glint in his eye.

I let go of his leg just before I hear Riley call my name, "Reese! They have horsies!"

Oh, I love horsies! I race over to where Riley and Matt was standing and over a railing, I see a ton of different colored horsies.

"Oh!" I gasp. "They're so pretty!" "You can ride one," a girl, no older then my daddy, says from the other side of the railing. She's wearing a funny uniform.

"Yes, please!" I say with excitment. She opens the gate for me, Riley, and Matt then gives us both hats.

Cowboy hats," she says with a grin. Hm, this hat reminds me of Carl Grimes from The Walking Dead. Uncle Connor and Uncle Ricky loves that show.

Kian's POV:

"Kian!" Connor shouts. "Where's your daughter?" I look next to me where I last saw Reese and see nothing. I spin around in a circle but don't see her anywhere.

"Shit!" I yell and start to panic. Where is she? What if she's hurt? What if she got kidnapped? What if she's riding a horse? Wait, she's riding a horse.

I run over to the 'Pony' stand and see my daughter, Riley, and Matt on 3 seperate horses.

I sigh in relief and put my hands on the railing and put my forehead on my hands. I stress too much ever since I adopted Reese, but it's 100% worth it.

"Kian?" Someone asks and I look up to see Andrea Russett. I sit up straighter, "hey, Andrea."

"Oh, it is you!" she says happily. "Are these young kids your siblings?" I shake my head, "no, the blonde girl with blue eyes is my daughter, the boy is her friend, and the girl with brunette hair and green eyes is Jc's daughter."

Andreas face falls when I say daughter. "Well, who's the mom?" "Oh, no, Reese isn't my daughter by blood, I adopted her not to long ago. 6 months ago, to be exact."

Andrea laughs, "oh, well she's very pretty." I look over at my daughter, who is smiling brightly as she rides the white horse and laughs with her two friends.

"Yea," I say. "She is. Thank you." "So, Kian, I think we should hang out more. Here's my number," Andrea rights something on a piece of paper and slips it in my hand.

"Call me."
