Advika's POV

I came out of the chairman's cabin, whirling and dancing.

My movements came to a halt when I noticed the girl from before staring at me as if I had grown horns on my head, and why shouldn't she? I am the one who has been acting strangely since I arrived here.

She is not to blame.

"I have been selected," I told her, but instead of smiling, she looked at me from head to toe.

I don't care!

"Congratulations, HR will contact you for the additional documents you need to submit to us before your joining," she said professionally.

"OK, thank you," I said, smiling.

I dashed out of there, clutching my purse and file in one hand. I want to tell my family as soon as possible about this wonderful news. I considered calling them at first but changed my mind because I wanted to see the joy on their faces with my own eyes.

My steps became faster as I couldn't contain my excitement any longer. I just wanted to reach my home and share my happiness.

As I turned left, I collided with someone, and the file I was holding fell to the ground, scattering all of my documents across the floor.

I immediately sat down to gather my papers, and the man with whom I had collided sat in front of me to assist me. My gaze was drawn to him as our hands touched when we were about to pick up the same paper.

"YOU!" My eyes widened, and the word came out louder than necessary.

He was the same man whose car I had collided with and who was about to kill me on such a beautiful day.

"You!" He screamed back and stood up as if he had seen a ghost.

I took up my file and followed him.

"What exactly are you doing here?" He inquired.

"I should be the one to ask you this question. What exactly are you doing here?" I inquired, and before he could respond, I yelled again, "were you following me?" I inquired further "You jerk!"

"Excuse me!"

"Yes, this is true. You were following me around like the jerk you are!"

"Have you lost it?" He asked, enraged and frustrated.

"I haven't lost it," I said as I approached him, "but you have." Even though he was much taller than me, I tried to stand up to him with full confidence with fire in my eyes. I can't show him that I am weak in any way "You are the one who follows me wherever I go. If this is not the case, then tell me what you are doing here" I asked, putting my hands on my waist, breathing deeply, and looking up at him.

His gaze shifted to my chest which was puffing out due to the posture in which I was standing. Our bodies were only an inch away but he didn't keep his eyes there for longer. He blinked it away.

As his gaze returned to my face, I exhaled deeply, took a step back, and relaxed my body.

How could I have forgotten that he is a jerk looking for such opportunities?

"Woman, pay attention to what you are..."

"Woman?" I interrupted him before he could finish his sentence "I am Lady!" I exclaimed proudly "Don't you know the difference between a woman and a lady?"

He opened his mouth to say something, but before he could finish, I interrupted again.

"First, please apologize and address me as Lady!" I stated firmly.
